Actually there are many factors to be considered before someone can be promoted.
Firstly you have become active on that forum by participating and initiating good discussions and encourage others to post nice quality, show maturity to handle anything thrown your way and traffic of the forum. But then by doing all of this doesn't give you any guarantee you will become DT.
