Many of you have requested to have a brief character sketch of the cast of ADHM. Well, your pleas have been heard. This is also for the new people who have just started watching ADHM and are still trying to figure out who is who and what role they serve in this serial. Enough of my blabbering...so here goes:

Rusty: She is also known as Ruhi. She is actually Randhir Deol's daughter from his 1st wife Linda. Her father actually abandoned her because his family didn't accept both his wife and his daughter. It is only till now that Rusty found out that Randhir is her real father. She had been leading a life as an orphan since her step dad John and her mom Linda didn't really pay attention to her. She is also a very good artist.
Ajit: He will soon be playing Rusty's love interest.
Biji: She is Randhir, Iqbal and Kulwant's mother and the wife of Baoji. She despises Rusty because she was born to a foreign lady. She is very strict and follows and respects the principles of the house.
Baoji: Head of the Deol clan. He is the husband of Biji, father of Randhir, Iqbal and Kulwant. He loves Rusty a lot.
Randhir Singh Deol: Randhir is the son of Biji and Baoji. He is the eldest son of the Deol family. He is the husband of Madhura (his 2nd wife) He loves his daughter Rusty very much.
Madhura: She is Randhir's 2nd wife. She is technically Rusty a.k.a Ruhi's step mom.
Iqbal: The son of Baoji and Bij, brother of Randhir, wife of Neelu, and father of Kandy.
Neelu: She is the Deol family's daughter-in-law and Madhura's bhabhi. She is the wife of Iqbal and is the mother of Kandy.
Kulwant: She is biji and baoji's daughter. She is Randhir's sister. She is also Rusty's aunt/buaji. She presently lives in London with her husband and 2 children.
Paddy: He is Kulwant's husband and the son-in-law of the Deol family.
Kandy: She is Neelu and Iqbal's daughter. She is the granddaughter of Baoji and Biji. She loves Yuvraj, who is Baldev's son.
Yuvraj: He plays Kandy's lover. He is the son of Balraj. He is also the brother of Andy.
Balraj: Enemy of the Deol family. Father of Andy and Yuvraj.
Andy: He is Balraj's son, who is in London.
John: He is Rusty's step dad.
Linda: She is Rusty's mother and was the 1st wife of Randhir.
Salma: She is Rusty's closest friend in London.
