After watching today's episode, I am compelled to write a few words and look at the difference between our Maaneet -- who are the epitome of selfless love and respect -- and the circus brigade wherein neither of them see anything or anyone beyond themselves.
We had cribbed and cribbed when Maaneet were in Amritsar as to WHY .. just WHY in the world do they bother helping out Lucky, Preeto, Dev, or Nando. We had wondered why they became so caring for them and why did they not just leave to Delhi? Well as much as we hated them helping out these 4 we have to admit that Maaneet did it out of 1) responsibility and 2) out of care. Sure, these 4 don't deserve any of it but Maaneet still helped these 4 get out of any nonsense they got themselves into because they CARED.
When they came to Delhi and these 4 became selfish enough to not see anything beyond their girl/boy war we still wondered why they were bothered to solve their problems. Daadima went to her pilgrimage so they couldn't help but take the responsibility of these 4 yet again. And well I don't blame Maaneet because helping these 4 is ten times better than having to hear their bickering 24/7. It's best if they'd help them understand the meaning of relationships because clearly they knew nothing about them and rather decided to jump into a commitment like marriage.
So my point is, even though Maaneet didn't have to, they still went ahead and helped these 4 whenever they were in a crisis situation. They took the time out to listen to their cribbing and nonsense fights because, well, they care.. sadly that took away from their alone time but heck, anything to get these 4 to shut their yap, right?
Coming to the major contrast I saw in today's episode. Geet is scared OUT OF HER WITS because of this stalker. Poor girl had to lock herself in the confines of her room because she didn't have her Maan with her as her protector. Right from the beginning Maan has been the one to get her out of her problems and today she felt his absence when she didn't have him to protect her from her stalker.
What were the clowns doing? Running around a shopping mall like 4 little kids high on sugar. They didn't think twice about where Geet is, or that this 10 lakh business is going to be costly for Maaneet. They didn't think twice about them.
When Geet finally decides to confide in them in the morning -- as she has literally no one else, not even Daadima, to turn to -- what happens? These 4 start their nonsense bickering and don't even listen to a word she has to say! Rather, they are so busy in their own little world that they don't notice how tense Geet looks or how out-of-place she is at that moment. They just come yelling their problems at her face!
If I were Geet I would honestly yell a big loud "SHUTUP!" to them and give them one big one about how tired I am of their nonsense bickering. Honestly Maaneet put their relationship and marriage on hold just so they could solve this circus show's problems and what do they get in return? Nothing. Nil. Nada. These 4 couldn't even be considerate of the fact that they're literally splurging off of Maaneet's hard-earned money, living in their house all comfortably without a question from Maaneet and literally freeloading off of them. Would it hurt them to shutup and listen to Geet for once? Would it hurt to put their differences aside and get off their high horses and LISTEN.
Of course not! They're too selfish to even care that the people who gave them a roof to live under are in a crisis situation of their own. Bickering their loud nonsense is not getting them anywhere!
Ok .. I realize I went way overboard and wrote a whole analysis but I just had to get this out of my system. I know we're all wanting to get rid of these 4 because they are of just NO USE but I felt after today's episode that we could see some serious contrast between our Maaneet and the nonsense couples.
