I have not watched today's episode yet, and after reading all these posts about it, I am wondering whether I should even waste my time and bother to watch the epi. Such a storyline is too Balaji-esq. I don't see 4 Lions using it.
It would be high on drama and angst, but after a certain point there will be nothing left. There has to be more...just more.
More emotion and logic motivating the track then a stupid hero who can't see the truth staring him in the face.
4 Lions writes their characters (the leads anyway lol) with intuitive smart natures. Arnav will know that Khushi didn't know.

I'm actually pretty sure that Arnav won't be convinced. Or if he is, both he and audience know its just a defense mechanism. He won't actually think it. Just let her think he does..

I just don't want them to marry in hate. I've seen that storyline a million times and it always ends the same. They hate each other for most of their marriage, then they love each other for about 2 episodes, then the hero is drugged by some skank and made to think he slept with her. Then the heroine dumps his ass, and 5 year leap. LOL i knoww. stupid right??

I know 4 Lions would NEVER do crap like that...but maybe a hate fueled marriage doesn't have to be all hate? What if its just hate so that Arnav can justify Khushi's presence in his life to himself? And so he doesn't have to bare his heart to her?

I'm a little confused by 4 Lions with this story actually. In Geet they never toyed with the idea of marriage. Even early on in the show, the 'fake marriage' ended up fueling the following year of the story- with the moral of the story being that marriage is serious business.

But with IPKKND you see a different ideology..and it scares me a little. I can totally picture Arnav marrying Khushi, but refusing to let go of La, simply because he knows it will hurt K and create distance between the two of them...which he is convinced he needs. I dont' know. Its really hard to see what Arnav will do, because he's just plain unpredictable at this point...
