CHAPTER 26

Piya was happy meeting jeh after long time but sad because jeh never told this part of his life to anyone. She really had a shock of the day. Jeh was a werewolf! Was she always surrounded by supernaturals? It was insane! Abhay looked at piya who was smiling and giggling to herself. He was confused that suddenly what happened to her. alina was in bad mood. Jeh had returned. Now he would irritate her to the core. Aliya was least interested in fun now a days.

Abhay couldn't take anymore. He finally asked her: what is piya? Why are you giggling continuously since jeh left? And what was all that about?

Piya burst into laughter and said: what? Nothing. I was just remembering my childhood.

Alina interrupted: oh please piya…don't even talk about that.

Abhay: what was with jeh? The way he was behaving..what was he talking about? As in his own selfish reasons?

Piya again started laughing. She enjoyed it when abhay didn't knew things. The role was reversed. Abhay wanted answers today. Piya replied: u will love this abhay. U know we are childhood friends..as in..me, alina, jeh, kabir, misha, ruhi and angad.

Abhay: so?

Piya: actually, angad and ruhi were always together. And rest of us had a complicated relationship.

Piya looked at alina who was eyeing not to speak anything in front of abhay. Abhay saw that. He said: what alina? So there is a secret ha…now I really want to know

Alina: piya..dont even dare to speak

Abhay: what will you do then?

Piya interrupted: will you both stop it? so abhay..sorry alina…here it is. Kabir liked me and so as jeh. Misha liked jeh and alina liked kabir.

Abhay was trying to join pieces and burst out laughing: alina liked kabir? Piya I love you for this. u finally gave me reason to shut alina's mouth

Alina gave dagger looks to abhay. And went away stamping her foot. Abhay looked at piya and asked: but this doesnt answer his own selfish reasons?

Piya: yes..because he is still trying to impress me

Abhay was angry when she spoke this. How can jeh think of wife this way: how dare he? I will kill him

Piya: relax abhay, he has been trying to do this since we were child. It doesn't change anything and apart, misha loves jeh and I am sure jeh will also like her someday.

Abhay: but still..how dare he…the way he looks at you

Piya was enjoying this: abhay…he knows that I am married and pregnant too. You look so cute when you are jealous.

Abhay: and why were u laughing?

Piya: because I realized that my one friend was a hybrid and other wolf! That means I was really surrounded by supernaturals!

Abhay rolled his eyes and took piya to the room so that she can rest. She had enough for one day. But suddenly piya started crying out loud in pain. She screamed and felt dizzy. She hold he abdomen tightly. Abhay could easily make out that kids were hurting her. Abhay called alina to his room.

Alina in no time started checking her. Piya's body temperature was rising beyond normal as if she is having fever. Abhay was scared. He just kept hold of piya.

Abhay shouted: alina do something..she is hurt and crying in pain.

Alina: abhay..they are hurting her. They are drinking her blood.

Abhay: cant we do something?

Alina: abhay..u once told me that piya drank blood and she felt much better. May be that wil help her again. I have given her pain killers…but it wont last long.

Abhay: do you think it's a god idea?

Alina: we need to do it..now..

Abhay got a glass filled with blood. Piya was still in pain but had stopped shouting. She looked at abhay. She knew she had done this before. Taking a deep breath, she drank it. Piya felt much better but she still felt pain. She had tears in her eyes.

Abhay saw this. He was cursing himself but didn't utter a word in front of piya. He made piya lie down and alina put her on sedatives so that she can sleep. It was important. Abhay didn't leave her side. He kept caressing her forehead.

Alina: abhay, its gonna get worse. They are due anytime. May be few hors or few days.

Abhay didn't look at alina. He just stared at piya and replied: so what do we do?

Alina: it will happen. We need to wait. But right now..u need to hunt. Look at you. U need power and with Maithili out..u need to power up.

Abhay: I cant leave her

Alina: you haveto..i will be with her. Don't worry.

Abhay kissed piya's forehead and left.

Maithili and dipanita had not yet returned. Arjun was still waiting for swati to answer. He had laid the bait. It was just a matter of time for him.

Swati came to him again and asked: were you being honest that time with what you told?

Arjun smiled and replied: have I ever lied to you

Swati stared and finally answered: fine..i will help you

Arjun: then get me out of here

Swati: I cant do this. arjun, Maithili will kill me if I betray her. I cant let you leave but can play your messenger whenever you like. I will send all the messages you want to send to raichands. I know your powers don't work here. so I can connect you to raichands that way but cant let you out.

Arjun thought for a long time. this wasn't that bad. Atleast he will be in contact with raichands and can give the information about whats happening. Arjun looked at swati and replied: fine..i am happy that u will do atleast this much

Swati: full moon is approaching. Its in 3 days. Maithili will act on that day. Since there is no word form raichands, piya is in danger. She will not leave you but will do something anytime to get piya here. be prepared.

Arjun was shocked. He looked at swati and managed to say: then do something. Go and tell this to raichands. Swati I owe them this much. please do it.

Swati nodded and left to go to the raichands.

[raichand house]

The door bell rang. Abhay smelled and vampire. Aliya found that smell similar. She became alert and opened the door. To her horror, it was swati.

Swati: I have a message for you from arjun

Aliya was shocked. She didn't knew what to do. Abhay told aliya to let her in the house.

Swati: so..u are aliya and you abhay

Abhay: who the hell are you?

Aliya: its swati

Abhay was shocked. His anger seemed no boundries. He wanted to rip her apart for hurting aliya and arjun.

Abhay: why are you here?

Swati: I am here to help

Aliya: help? U have arjun..what help will you do to us. Just get the hell out of here

Swati ignored aliya and looked at abhay: listen, arjun has promised me to be with me only if I help you all. I cant set arjun free because maithli will kill me but I can surely tell you one thing. Full moon is in 3 days. Since u have not agreed to her demands, she will act. Piya is in danger. She wants piya on that day. Her witches have told her that the hybrids are bound to born on that day.

Aliya was in broken. She knew arjun. He would never betray her. she knew that arjun was faking but she couldn't help her emotions. Aliya left from there.

Abhay: what? 3 days

Swati: I had to tell you this. I had to do this for arjun. One more thing, arjun told me that u will kill Maithili and he is very confident about it but he also told that if I help you then…

Abhay: I will let you live

Swati nodded and left. Her work was done.

Chand and haseena heard every word of it. but they had one more problem in their hands. They came to abhay looking worried. Chand replied first: we have got a problem

Abhay rolled his eyes and asked: tell me something new

Haseena: abhay, we have been called to manali. There is a rumour in our world that you have married a human and she is expecting.

Abhay: but that's true

Chand: our superiors want to confirm it. we need to go now before they come to dehradoon.

Abhay didn't knew what to do further. He already had so much on his mind. He asked: is there something I need to know?

Chand and haseena looked at each other. Haseena replied: we will talk about this later. Right now we have to leave but before that we need alina's help.

alina came from behind asked: what help?

Chand: we have been called by superiors. They know about piya and they had agreed for their marriage on condition of piya being a vampire. But since it didn't happen due to obvious reasons, I want you to block that part of our memory which has piya being pregnant. They will know whats on our mind. So just block it so that they cant read this part and yes, about the war coming up too.

Alina looked at both of them and replied: I can do that but they can still find out.

Haseena: that's other think. But right now do as we say.

Alina nodded. She closed her eyes and cast the spell on chand and haseena's memory and blocked certain part of it. they remembered everything only they vampires wouldn't be able to read it.

[abhiya's room]

Abhay saw piya was resting. He went near her and kissed her cheeks. Piya opened her eyes. abhay smiled at her and asked: why are you still awake? how are you now?

Piya: I am fine

Abhay: piya, I and aliya are going out for hunting. We need to power up for the war. Mom and dad are out for some work. Alina will be with you. Though I don't want to leave you alone with that freak, but I know, she can take care of you.

Piya: abhay, go and hunt. you haven't been on hunting since long. You need it. I will be fine.

Abhay looked and piya for long time and replied: I hope so. Don't do anything stupid while I am away

Piya smiled and abhay left kissing her forehead.

[manali]

Chand and haseena reached manali. They reached near a dense forest and started walking. After 30 minutes, they reached in the middle of the forest. There was a huge house more like a palace. it was more like a haunted house. No human ever walked here. sunrays hardly reached this place. It was dark. They entered the house. It was covered with webs and dust. They went deeper inside a house. There was secret door. They opened and went inside it.

There was a huge hall behind the door. It was beautifully decorated. No one can ever imagine that there can be such a secret place. Chand and haseena looked around. The huge hall was surrounded with vampires. And it the centre. There were 3 vampires sitting on a throne like king.

One of them got up from his place and greeted their visitors. He smiled and said: finally our guests have arrived.

Chand and haseena bowed down and then looked at him: brute, its nice to meet you after such a long time

Brute smiled and asked: how is your eternal life going? I hope no rules are being broken

Suddenly a darked haired vampire got up from her place and came near brute. She gave a slight peck on his lips: brute, u have started with your again. Let them atleast take a breath.

Brute rolled his eyes and replied: sure jwala

Brute and jwala went to their respective places. Chand looked at the third vampire who was still staring at chand. Chand thought she hasn't changed a bit.

Finally she broke her stare and asked chand: how have you been chand?

Chand: same as ever jenna..long time..you didn't change a bit

Haseena gave dagger looks to chand and jenna chuckled. Jenna replied: we don't change…remember?

Haseena finally said: you called us here, so what do you want to know?

Brute replied: always so serious haseena? We know that abhay has married a human. He did that with our consent but we also came to know that the human is expecting. Meaning a new race in progress. So is it true that prophecy is coming true?

Chand laughed and replied: these are mere rumours. Do you really think it will happen?

Brute: is it?

Jwala: then prove it.

Brute came near chand and looked into his eyes. brute had power to know everything that happened just looking into the eyes. he ould read everything that had in his mind. Brute concentrated and looked inside. But he couldn't find anything. He felt a twinge of anger. The same he did with haseena but to his disappointment, there was nothing. Brute broke off and looked at chand who was smiling.

Brute: so I guess its not true

Chand: surely, any doubt

Brute: I still see she is human

Haseena: she will be turning in 3 days. Full moon is approaching.

Chand: is there anything we could do or shall we leave?

Brute: yes, you can..thank you for your visit.

Chand and haseena left. Brute was still staring them go. jwala came near him. she asked: any problem my love

Brute: there was unevenness in their memory. They have kept something from us. I think its our time to visit dehradoon.

Jenna: when brother

Brute: soon…

[next morning]

Chand and haseena haven't returned yet. Abhay and aliya were still on hunting. Sid and panchi were practicing fight in the jungle due the destruction they were creating. Piya was alone with alina. Piya looked at alina who was busy dancing here and there.

Piya got irritated and said: will you stop dancing?

Alina looked at piya and replied: why so irritated. When abhay is not near you, you have different mood.

Piya: cut it out. I want to go out.

Alina laughed and replied: there..finally you said it. but you cant. Its not safe. And you know what happened earlier?

Piya: I need fresh air. Just take me to the backyard in the garden. Its part of our house. I am fine. It doesn't hurt anymore

Alina thought for sometime and replied: fine..lets go

Alina supported piya and took her to the garden. She made piya sit on the bench. Piya was enjoying the cool breeze. It was keeping her calm. Finally she looked at alina and said: I am thirsty

Alina: wait here, I will get you water. Don't move

Piya muttered: as if I can

Alina shot back: whatever..with you anything is possible.

Alina went inside the house to get water for piya leaving her alone for sometime. Piya was enjoying the nature when some one tapped on her shoulder. Piya turned back and was shocked

Voice: hello piya nice to meet you again

Alina came out in few minutes bringing water. She looked around but piya was not there. She yelled calling her name but no response. Finally alina found a note which read ," piya is with us…save here if you can"

Aww! Loved Pia! lol this time Abhay was clueless!
