WHO WILL BE DURHARA AND CORNELIA,(durdhara found!)

Chanakya used to give Chandragupt a fixed amout of poison to make him immune of it. One day, while Durdhara was pregnant, she ate Chandragupt's food. Unfortunately she died.😭 Chanakya got to know about this on time and he went to Durdhara and cut her stomach and took out the baby. But a drop of poison fell on his forehead and and formed a spot like a "bindi". Thus, he was named as Bindusaar. Then Cornelia, the daughter of Selucus Nicator used to take care of the baby.

Looks like Cornelia will be the only wife of Chandragupta who was uncontested, since he married her after Nanda's death, and there was no question of Selukus giving her to anyone else.

Does anyone know whether Cornelia was married after Durdhara died? Also, I hope they don't show any rivalry for Cornelia's hand.

As for who should play them, I think Yasushri would have done a good job as Cornelia; failing that, Sriti Jha would have been good as well. For Durdhara's role, not to try and resurrect GkD, but I think Tanvi Bhatia could be interesting (but not for that reason). Or else, someone like Meenakshi Arya (Urmila in the AS Ramayan) or one of the actresses usually on hand for MDSK can be good as well.

yeah mee too noticed the mention of Durdhara... But when listened carefully they were pronouncing it as Dugdhara!!!! may be i'm wrong but that's what i felt!!!!!

I think Yami gautam wiould be the best option for Cornelia and for durdhara... hmmm... well tanvi bhatia suits the role!!!!😉

Yami Gautam doesn't seem foreign @ all to pass off as a Cornelia. If you want her in, give her Durdhara's role.

For Cornelius, Sriti & Yasushri seem the best, aside from that, the girl who played Natasha in KMH1, or the one who plays Natasha in Preeto seem okay for this role. One thing - Selukus looked too young to be Chandragupta's FIL - in fact, Chandragupta looked older. 😕

That's why Yami... Moreover her voice quality is quite different from those of typical Indian beauties...

One thing more ...that's abt seleucus...yaeh i too agree that in the show he has been shown very young but considering the dates... We find that CGM married Cornelia just 4 or 5 yrs before his death [i.e. when he was just in his early 40's] so if we assume cornelia to be young at that time... even 24 or 22... then it seems quite practical as when greeks visited Inida for the first time, CGM was 16 or 17... which means Cornelia was not even born!!!! which means Seleucus' only son Antiochus who was born many yrs after Cornelia a not also born... and maan lo!!! Seleucus ki shaadi 16 ya 17 ki age mein hi ho gayi thi as it was quite common that time...

In that case, Seleucus young toh lagega hi naa???????😆
