The news of Maan and Geet's fight spread like fire in the college.. It wasn't a new thing though...as they fought every day and patch up everyday. But the reason for their fight was always new and hence the topic of discussion...

They never fought twice for one thing. People were amazed how they could find a new reason to fight every day and never really used the same reason again!!

But they could never stay mad at each other for a long time, which was again a topic of amazement for many.

They were inseparable. Nothing has ever come in between their friendship ever.

They have been best friends since the first day of the college. For the first time in his life, Maan has met someone who could face him head-on.

On the first day of college, Geet had challenged Maan for a basketball match.

Maan had never been interested in basketball. Football was his sport. But Maan being Maan, there was no chance of him not accepting the challenge, even when he had never ever dribbled the basketball in his entire life.

He was confident that being Maan Singh Khurana, he would easily win the challenge. But he hadn't known that Geet was basketball champion in her high school!!

As a result, he had lost the challenge!! For the first time in his life, he has tasted the bitter taste of defeat and that too from a girl.

So to defeat her in basketball, became the ulterior motive of his life!!!

So they started having private basketball matches everyday in the morning after that!! But he was never able to defeat Geet till today.

They didn't know when they became from enemies to friends, and from friends to best-friends... It was still a mystery for some people that how they became best friends!!! Maybe this is what is called destiny!!

Maan Singh Khurana who never gave a second glance towards girls had a girl best friend!!!

But Geet was no ordinary girl! She was Geet Handa, as Maan called her occasionally. Geet was a lot like guys in her habits and dressing sense. She wears track-suits, sweatshirts, jeans just like guys!! She did not have any patience with girly clothes and make-ups!! It was like Geet and girly stuff weren't made to be said in the same sentence.

She was total tomboyish type but she had a pure and caring heart, the quality which Maan loved the most and which made her unique in her own way.

All in all, Maan loved her! She was his best buddy!!!

Many times people even thought that as Maan does not show any interest in other girls and always stayed with Geet all the time, that they are dating secretly!!

But they were all wrong! They didn't know that Maan and Geet will never date each other. Not just because they don't felt that kind of attraction towards each other but because they had pledged the fourth oath of friendship that they will never date each other and ruin their friendship!! Yes they had their secret oaths of friendship!!!

It has been one hour, since their latest fight and they still hadn't talked to each other yet!!! This is the limit!! They had never spent this much time staying mad at each other after their fight!! They didn't even apologise to each other...never!!! What's the point of apologising when they knew they are gonna fight again pretty soon!!

And they had never felt the need to apologise either!! Their friendship had crossed the need to say sorry and thank you a long time ago!!!

Maan went to his locker to get his books for their next lecture, when he felt a hand on his shoulder and he looked towards Geet who put her hand taking him into a buddy side hug and said enthusiastically "So Maan, did you heard that? Our class is going to Goa this weekend!! It would be so much fun right!!"

Maan took out his books unaffectedly and said "I'm sure it would be Geet, but I'm not going!"

Geet gets away from him and said "Whattt??!!"

"I have to go home this weekend! Dadima is sick!!" he said while walking out of the locker room.

Geet made a face of mimicking him behind his back and he said "I saw that Geet!!"

Geet makes a face at being caught and said sarcastically while catching up with him "Do you have eyes behind your back too??"

Maan decided to ignore that.

Geet makes a baby face and said "Come on Maan, now don't be a spoilt sport!! You 'have to' come!!! If not for me, then for the sake of Sonia!" she teased him with a mischievous tone.

Maan gave her an angry glare, while Geet enjoyed his glares. She smiled evilly.

Sonia was kind of an ultimate stalker of Maan, always trying to get her hands on him... No matter how many times Maan had confronted her to stop following him, she just doesn't give up... and Geet loved to tease him for that...

Maan said sarcastically "Why don't 'you' entertain her for a change!! I'm sure she won't mind, seeing you look a lot like a guy!!!" he smirked to see the desired effect of his words on Geet. It was an ultimate weapon of Maan. When nothing else worked, he knew his teasing to call her a man definitely worked, without a doubt!

Geet narrows her eyes at his teasing, which was second time in one day...he's definitely getting more and more confident day by day...hmmm she has to do something fast about it...

She said authoritatively "You can say whatever you want Maan Singh Khurana, but you have to come, either you want it or not!!"

Maan picks up his chin at her order and said "Aaj tak koi aisa paida nahi hua Geet Jo Maan Singh Khurana se zabardasti kar sake!!"

Geet smirks and said proudly "Get your statistics checked Maan Singh Khurana! Kiyunki tumse zabardasti karne wali 18 saal pehle paida ho chuki hai!! Geet Handa!!!" she said her name proudly.

He had a huge urge to smile at her. She was right! There's Only one person in the world that could force Maan Singh Khurana to do something against his will...Geet Handa!! Not because he's scared of her but because he loves her! He cares for her!! His best friend!!! His Geet!!!!

But there's no way he's letting her know that!! Ok fine! She knows it already, but he's no way admitting it to her!!!

He said firmly "I'm not coming Geet Handa! You understand that??!! And if you'll excuse me, I'm getting late for the lecture!!" and he leaves.

Geet looks at his back with an evil mischievous smirk on her face...

Maan is sitting next to Geet while throwing daggers at her with his eyes, while Geet smiles at him unaffectedly. And the bus for Goa trip starts moving...
