It is really weird to see her smile while the whole house was immersed in deep grief and shock!! Amazingly if you see Kesar...he still has not got the full impact of Vasant's death, his primary concern is still Gulaal and her reaction to this...You can see his worry when she saunters in the house, unaware that her life has changed forever, his apprehension at her reaction, his childlike helplessness as he holds on to Reva, unable to find strength to give to Gulaal as she struggles to come to terms that She has lost the most important person in her life...That is such a heart breaking scene...
