Maaneet 1^st date

Anyway some of you asked me to use new songs...well I don't watch hardly any new movies anymore. Plus I really find most new songs not appealing and meaningless but if you would suggest if something matches I will use it so please feel free to give suggestions.

It was November and the leaves had fallen and the city had gone cold. Mostly it was drizzling with rain and the occasional wind here and there. Geet woke up to her set alarm and switched it off. She hardly got any sleep due to the butterflies in her stomach. She put the pillow over her head and began thinking what she needed to do. *Geet make sure you take an umbrella and plenty of tissues*

Sonam came in the room and began nudging Geet. "Di get up you got a DATE with Maan." She said teasingly. Geet threw the pillow and got up. "Shhh Sonam no one is suppose to know...if Maan finds out he will kill me and on top with his anger he won't talk to me for days so please tell no one". Sonam smiled and shook her head. "Don't worry Di...you have a good time and don't get up to any naughty business". Geet playfully slapped her. "Cheeky girl..as if!"

Geet stretched and put her mud mask on. She wanted her face to look fresh. She began looking at her clothes. She was going to wear a blue shalwar kameez. She hit the shower and began getting ready. She moisturised her body with coco butter. She applied her deodorant and wore her favourite perfume; Pure Midnight poison. She put on her clothes and began applying her makeup. Firstly she applied white shimmering eyeshadow. She put black eyeliner to enhance her beautiful hazel eyes. She put koyal underneath. She put three coats of eyelashes. She had very long lashes but she wanted to make them look even longer...god knows why?!

She began to apply blusher that her phone rang. She picked up her phone and smiled. "Morning...what you doing?" Maan smirked. "Uhhh getting ready to see someone"...Geet bantered. She started to put her pointy stilleto's on.

"Acha? May I ask who?"

"Someone".

Maan was ready in his black attire, looking the handsome hunk he already is.

"Geet kabi kabi I wish you would be possessive of me".

"Meaning like yourself?"

"Haan...".

There was a silence for a moment or two. Geet began combing her hair waiting for Maan to say something. He began singing to her while Geet blushed. Geet began imagining Maan coming from behind and trying to hug her while she moved away. She slapped her head playfully and sat near her dressing table beautifying herself.

Maan : Eh kaash tum kehdo kabi, tum ho mere, tum ho mere

Geet brought her face near the mobile and sang shyly to Maan's picture and hugged the phone like she was hugging him.

Geet:Dil se suno, dil ki zubaan kehta hain dil tum ho mere

She put her phone on speaker to listen to Maan and apply her lipgloss. She smiled at his romantic words. She put her small blue and white studs and small necklace on. Finally she combed her hair.

Maan: Aye agar moth kabi, humko judaa na kar sake, eh kaash tum kehdo kabi tum ho mere, tum ho mere

Maan grabbed his wallet and keys and went out of the house. Geet took her handbag and gave herself a final look. Sonam kissed Geet and nodded her approval. She left the house and boarded the train. This black guy kept looking at Geet admiring her beauty. She really looked gorgeous today. Alas! All this effort for Maan! Hope it pays off! After an hour Geet reached the destination and came out. Her reception of her mobile was back. Maan had texted her *I knew you would be late!* She rang Maan immediately, while walking towards Hampton Gardens.

Vaada karo, kao kasem, milte rahe hum har janam

Maan smiled and listened. He already had reached.

Maan: Janmo se hain , rishta bunda, joot hain jo wo khaye kasem?

Geet began hyperventilating that any moment she would see Maan.

Geet: Dil ko yakeen toh hain pyar pe, na jaane pir bi dil kyon darre

"Maan where are you?"

"Uhhh Geet I am here in Hampton Gardens".

"Duh I know but exactly where?"

"in Macdonalds" answered Maan.

"Okay I will find it stay there".

Maan decided to go and look for her. Geet went towards Macdonalds. Maan rang her feeling upset that he is unable to find her.

Maan: Nazron se dhoor, jab dhoor ho, kuch na kahin aye nazar

Geet feels his words and replies back feeling the same.

Geet: Tere bina pal na khate, kaise khate gi saari umar?

Maan reveals his emotions for the first time and Geet smiles.

Maan: Jeena pare, kho kar tume, aisa sitam rab na kare, Eh kaash tum kedo kabi tum ho mere, tum ho mere

Geet: Dil se suno, dil ki zubaan kehta hain dil tum ho mere

Geet reaches Macdonalds and Maan is not there. "Maan where are you? I am sitting in Macdonalds looking like an idiot!"

"sit tight and I will come back".

Geet sat down clutching her long winter coat. God! It was cold! She sat on a table in Macdonalds and began feeling nervous...really nervous...her heart beat was thumping...he breathing was shallow. It seemed they were playing hide n seek. She began looking at her mobile and smiled at a shirtless Maan. She quickly put it away just incase he saw her checking his hot physique out, he already had a big head. She shut her handbag and began tapping her fingers on the table feeling really conscious that she was sitting in Macdonalds and was not even eating anything! She felt a tinge of embarrasement and hoped no one had noticed.

Suddenly Maan came and sat infront of her on the opposite side of her table. She looked startled. "Hello Geet! Thanks for coming". She could tell he was nervous too and he was talking really fast.

"Its okay". She said trying to act confident. She knew she melted seeing Maan. It was one thing talking over the phone and another when you come face to face. She noticed the most absurd of things. His watch, his little stubble on his jaw and he had dark brown eyes with really long lashes. She found that so attractive about him. "Geet come on lets go!"

They got up and went out. She did not know where and he did not either. She followed him. They walked for a long time side by side chatting away about their families. Suddenly Maan saw a cafe and he suggested they have a coffee as it was so cold. Maan was so nervous that he did not bother asking Geet what she would like. He ordered two coffees and a raisen pastry. They had to sit on stools which were lined like a bar. The cafe was very Victorian, all mahogany and had an old feel to it. They were accidently sitting so close that their shoulders were brushing against each other. Maan was finding it such a turn on. He began flirting a little bit. "Geet you know some people sit in a cafe all day and buy one coffee...I would not mind sitting in a cafe with you all day". Geet blushed and drank her coffee which was not going down. Maan did not bother even letting her finish and got up and she followed.

They were walking and walking...Maan was walking a tad fast. Geet yelled "Maan wait!". She ran a little and without realising put her hand in his gloved hand. Maan looked and she felt awkward. "Sorry wo.." she was about to take her hand that he grasped it back and gave her an intense look. She looked down. Maan saw apair of jeans through a window. "Geet lets go I want to buy them". He asked the sales assistant and she told him they were on the first floor. Maan was about to go into the lift that a group of students went in. "Maan we will take the stairs". Maan understood she was not comfortable going inside a lift with him so he respected her wish. Maan decided not to get the jeans as they did not look as good as they did in the window shop.

Both walked out and slowly walked down a road of old cafe's. They went inside and grabbed a hot chocolate with whipped cream and a flake.

Both sat and drank it carefully. Maan had a little cream on his lips. Geet pointed at it but he never understood. She reached over the table and wiped it off. Maan felt something. She sat down looking at her hot chocolate. She was feeling awkward. Maan looked in awe at her beauty. For the first time he was checking her out! He noticed herr cute dimples, her small mannerisms, her shyness and most of all her beautiful hazel eyes. She looked up and caught him looking. He quickly began talking. "Geet your mad! Anyway I got something for you but you better accept it". An American lady was ordering coffee and saw the beautiful couple and was cooing over their romantic moment. Maan took a rose and a crystal box out for her and handed it over. She looked at the ring not believing what she was seeing.

"Maan its beautiful..you didn't have to...ummmhhh why don't you put it on me". Maan quickly took the offer and took the ring out of the box and put it on her engagement hand. She smiled at Maan and thanked him. "Geet chalo you need to go its getting late". Geet got up and both walked towards the station hand in hand. It had got dark and more cold. Geet clutched at her coat and loosely put her duppatta on her head to cover her hair flying away. "Geet thank you for coming I know it was hard for you but we will cherish these moments for the rest of our lives, hain na?" Geet nodded.

They reached the station and Maan grabbed her hand and played with her fingers. "Geet ring me when you get home". Geet nodded and looked into his lovable eyes. "Okay I better go". Geet turned to leave but Maan called her. "Geet!" she looked back and he came near. He put his hand on the back of her head which had a dupatta and lowered his lips to kiss her. She was not expecting this, so she grabbed his bicep to support herself. He pressed her head towards him to intensify the kiss and her dupatta fell down on her shoulders. She slipped her hands under his biceps and hugged him while he enjoyed this kiss. "Maan let go of me". But he carried on giving her closed mouth kisses. Suddenly they came into their senses realising people were walking past. "Geet we better move now don't want to come in the papers now do we?"

Geet shyly moved away and waved at him and he waved back. Both boarded their trains and made their way home. While they were over ground they texted each other. *Geet this was the best day of my life* Geet smiled at the message and began daydreaming of their first kiss. She touched her lips. He kissed her! He kissed her! He kissed her!
