Yes, even i have been seeing many calling him Biru recently. So that's his nickname 😊

once Rishi kapoor told in his interview why his both children Ranvir and Riddhima dont have pet names like other Kapoors ...once he was shooting in 70's , i think it was spot boy called him " Chintu Tumhara scene hai " and another actor who was junior to Rishi, was sitting beside him, spot boy took his proper name and called him Aap ...then Rishi told him I m senior actor , have some respect for me ...he also said in same interview how ppl call him e chintu , oye chintu 😆...and then he decided never to give any kind of pet names to his childeren bcz it all happened bcz of the name Chintu

he has nicks given by fans and friends- ranbu, bir, biru...cheater, player...hehe! randy for a desi boy is not a nice name! lol!
