i have the following Q...or doubts or somewhere things dot add up...
deveet seems be unlikely doing that whatever they are doing...coz one they are engaged and will soon be married...and dev seems to be a thanda aadmi to me..and secondly...geet and man getting intimate looked like something clandestine...and like these two have been waiting for this moment and relishing this stuff...and dropping their guard for some time...

secondly sunny doesnt seem to be pregnant to me in the first place...it looks more like maan fabricated the story

thirdly...i have this weird feeling that the title of the ff love lies deceit seems to be not for a single person...
its like two individuals are playing a charade and trying to act indifferent or friendly to each other...having some motive to mislead the family...but deep withing this charade is orchestrated so that they cud be together at the end...
neither maan nor geet seems to be goody goody to me...or else as usual it is my overworked imagination and wishful thinking that is making my brain signals go haywire and hatch this convoluted plot...
at times i feel i myself will make go confused over ur plot with my weird ideas...
hope u survive after reading this blabbering of mine and atrocious analysis...sorrry my pea sized brain's theory...

BTW did i say i love this update...omg omg i was blushing...thank god power cut ho gaya...or else my parents wud have seriously wondered what is it that is making their weirdo daughter blush in the early morning./...
save me from ur updates by giving a warning...as that wud help me to prepare myself and prob i wud be reading when not a soul is near me

one more thing i wanted to say...rose...plz put a adult content warning whenever u r writing such stuff...or else someone may report of adult content to mods...its just a precautionary step...

Part 20

Her body felt weightless and boneless, and yet at the same time so heavy with exhaustion that she couldn't move and he watched her as she closed her eyes

It was the sound of running water that woke Geet up.

Part 21

It was the sound of running water that woke Geet up- that and a sense of loss because even in sleep she had known that he had left. The room was still dark. Maybe it was raining outside.

Slowly, like wisps of fine cloud, memories of the night drifted back to her. She had been awake for sometime, lying in bead and marveling at the difference between the girl she had been and the woman she was now. Her body glowed still with the aftermath of their pleasure.

Dev! Where was he? What would he say to her? What would she say to him? She had lost her virginity even before her marriage. But she knew that he was an honorable man and would do nothing to jeopardize their marriage by letting anyone know about them. Already she ached for him and wanted to be with him. Already the effect of the night's intimacy had changed her and their relationship, and her heart was speeding on wings into magical world where everything and anything was possible.

She got up dressed herself and went to her room. As it was still dark outside she decided to lie down thinking about her future slowly drifting back to sleep.

It was just gone six in the morning. She was showered and dressed and drinking the tea her maid had brought her. The morning sun was bathing everything in primrose gold, the clear blue of sky on the horizon turning lighter where it met white walls of the building.

She had been standing thinking hard with deep frown lines when she heard the door of her room close and Pari asking her something.

"What happened di, why are you so tensed?"

She smiled back at her sister, squinting a little as she faced the morning sun. "It's just wedding jitters."

"Di, it should be we who should be feeling extreme nervousness as we are the one's trying to mange everything. Please don't go worrying yourself about anything, everything will turn out just perfect." Saying this Pari hugged her.

"Don't stress yourself Di, we all are there to see nothing goes wrong."

Geet, herself could not explain, why she felt so nervous. Maybe because she did not know what Dev's reaction would be to the night of their togetherness.

"Dadima has called you downstairs for breakfast Geet di" Pari's words brought her out of her revive "why don't you get rid of these jitters of yours by going shopping with Sunny and Meera? They're planning to leave shortly.'

"Maybe."

"Geet!" she said warmly, smiling and rushing over to give her a hug. Geet stayed stiff in her embrace. It felt awkward. But she had to give Sonalika credit where credit was due- she was putting on a wonderful show.

"You are going shopping with me. I want to buy you a wedding present, Geet"

"No, No! Sunny I do not want a present"

"Nonsense!" Sunny said with a sweep of her hands, "Every bride needs a wedding present and there's no time like present. You don't mind, do you Dev if we take away you would be bride for few hours?"

Dadima had been waiting for them for breakfast when Pari and Geet had arrived. Geet bending down to take her blessing had enquired about her health. They had just started their breakfast when Dev, Maan and sunny joined them. Seeing them Geet shyly dipped her head. He turned to face her, waited, all the time looking intently at her until she could bear it no longer and met his gaze. He smiled at her and the smile conveyed love.

"Why should I mind, Sunny? Soon I will have her all to myself but before that all the time in the world is hers. She can do what she wants."

It had been late when they had returned from shopping. She had never thought she would enjoy the day so much that too with a stranger but Sonalika had been a bright, chirpy, happy, bubbly girl with a sunny disposition hell bent on make the day enjoyable for Geet and Meera. They had fun shopping, eating out and ultimately feeling tired had returned home though none of them had wanted the day to end. By the end of the day she had become good friend with Geet who had similar traits.

But home brought a peculiar longing in Geet.

They had all gathered together to see the shopping done by the trio and for a cup of coffee.

"Geet Bhabhi, we all are playing a game of cards" Vicky announced to the gathering.

She longed to be in his arms.

"Pari u deal and Geet will be my partner" Savitri Devi decided before any one can claim her as their partner. Sunny choosing Maan as her partner, Vicky with Meera which left Pari ultimately pairing it of with Dev for the card game.

She longed to know whether it was it not a one off thing. To feel the sensations, which were brought out by him.

They kept on playing till very late giving no opportunity to Geet to leave.

She wanted to feel him and him surround her with his essence. She wanted to visit the place which had brought out so much calm, peace, serenity in her.

She yearned to be in his embrace.

Precap:He opens the door and sees her standing at the window.

OMG that means geet had spend the night with dev. Dammit unbelievable and now iam 100% sure that maan does'nt love geet or geet has any feelings for him , i think geet has fallen for dev and maan don't know but maybe be sunny.plsss disclose the suspense soon as can't bear more dear.
