Geet sat at the park looking into the emptiness. She has left Maan in the morning but still doesn't have any guts to go home. How was she going to face her parents? What is she going to tell them? Just the thought of their disappointing face tormented her. Her shetan turned her life upside down. She hated him. How can he tell her to go away after everything that happened between them? From the diary, he wrote that he loved her and can't live without her then where is that love? She didn't say to love him out of pity..she wanted to give him a chance. The love that he wrote for her made her feel different about him. She didn't know what the feelings were but it wasn't hatred it was hope. Maybe hope for their new start?
Thank you Bloomysunday aka Priya for this lovely poem again!😳
Lonliness is tearing me apart ..
How can i find a way to your heart ??
I want ur body close to mine
Now , tommoroe and till the end of time
Its all i have been thinking of
I want u in my life
But if i will loose u , it will cut me like a knife
I now dont want to play any role
I just want to become apart of ur soul...
She didn't even know anymore where is belonged. What is her destination? She looks at he mangalsutre...this was her new reality. He was right, she couldn't escape from this shetan if she wanted too. She couldn't ignore the fact that she is married, even if its to a shetan. At the end, the cold hard fact remains, she is married. She is stuck at a road where choosing a destination is not easy. One one side is her shetan that left no stone unturned to torment, break her heart, her spirit and on the other side is her parents...who loved her unconditionally, gave her whatever she wanted no matter what her demands might be. Who should she choose? Her parents? Or her Shetan?
She closes her eyes, Maan's painful eyes popped in front of her. She opens them up and clenches her mangalsutre in panic sensing as if something is wrong. She gets up wiping her tears and starts walking. She was about to catch a taxi when she saw a STD phone. She goes inside and dials a number. After few rings...someone finally picked up.
Geet: Hello mumma (she holds back her tears) yeah I am fine...It will take more time for me to come back...haan I am taking care of myself. Where is papa? (she was disappointed when she hears that he was at work. She missed hearing his voice) okay mumma I will call you guys later. I have to go. Bye. love you guys! (She hangs up the phone crying.)
"Sorry I have to lie to you guys but I have no other option. I can't come home just yet. Not until I find my answers. I will not leave this easily..." She wipes her tears and hails a taxi. She comes back home but she got the feeling that something was wrong. She went inside to see everything dark. She covered her nose when she smelled alcohol stench. After few seconds, she managed to find a light switch and was shocked to see the state of the house. Whiskey bottles were everywhere, some were broken, some were half way full. She looked around the bar area for Maan but couldn't find him. Pancking, she runs up the stairs to the bedroom. Everything was still the same as she left it. The room was still scattered, blood was still on the bathroom floor, now dried, broken glass everywhere. She quickly left the room toward his study area but again she came back empty handed. She was about to go down the stairs when she saw a light from one of the room. She walks toward the light. This was one room that was always locked. She remembered when Maan gave her the tour of the house he never mentioned this room and she forget to ask him again. She stood there shocked when she saw the room.
The room was pink and white colored, now faded, with a crib on one corner of the room, a changing table on the other side with toys hanging from the ceiling. In another corner, there were old stuffed toys that hadn't been touched in years.
The wall was colored white, behind the changing table with pink flowers blossoming drawn. There was high ceiling with pink chandelier in the middle. All over the ceiling there was blue ocean drawn with many sea animals. Tears dropped from her eyes seeing the room. It was beautiful. She steps inside the room as she looks around at each and every details. She opens one of the closet to find clothes of a baby filled. Not one corner was spared in the closet. She holds the baby clothes in her hand looking at it. She walks to the crib, touching the fabric, now covered with dust, she picked up a piece of clothing that caught her attention and held it in front of her. She touched the red hand print like stain on the shirt. It was blood she realized. Why was this bloody shirt kept inside the crib? Whos room is this? Many new questions formed in her head for their answers. She knew only one person could answer them but it wouldn't be easy. She turns around when she hears a slight noise. She drops everything in her hand as she goes near Maan lying in one corner. She suppresses her scream when she steps on a broken glass. She ignores her pain and leans down near him. She puts his head on her lap trying to wake him up. She takes the card from his hand and reads it...
Okay I tried with this poem...I am not as poetic as BloomySunday aka Priya 😆😆
You will be the angel, my Pari
You will be like my firefly that will shine my life
Your sound of laughter will fill this my life with happiness
Without you my life will be filled with nothing but sadness
Please come soon!
Yours,
Maan
She puts the card down with tears and tries to wake him up again. She gets up searching for someone in the house to help. She picks up the phone and dials for ambulance. She grabs a glass of water and runs back upstairs. She sprinkles water on his face but got no response. She hugs him crying seeing him in this condition. Few minutes later, an ambulance comes taking Maan away.
P.S. I told you I would update soon soon soon...hehehe just had to do some final touches...now enjoy!😆
