PART 29
Maan stepped out of his car in front of the farmhouse that according to Annie Geet and Vicky were allegedly celebrating their honeymoon at.
Blood coarsed through his veins, as he eyed the beautiful farmhouse, set amidst the hills of Kumbalgarh. It was a heavenly place, "Perfect for the start of their new life bhai..", Annie had very happily chirped, much to Maan's annoyance.
He strode through the main door, and into the building with quick steps, his angry eyes searching for their prey.
"GEET!!!!
GEET!!!
COME OUT RIGHT NOW, OR I SWEAR YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET THIS...!"
"Saheb...", came the low squeaky voice of a seemingly old man, who was probably the caretaker of the place.
"Madam is in the verandah...", but before he could say anything else, Maan had already left to look for this godforsaken verandah.
As he turned round the corner and entered the verandah, thousands of beautiful rose petals came cascading down onto him.
Maan looked up, and spread his arms out to feel the petals in surprise. And after a while when he looked down, he saw that the entire verandah had been decorated with thouasnds of roses, candles and balloons of all colours, as if lots of rainbows had themselves descended from the heavens above, and lit the atmosphere with their beauty.
Amongst all this hung a sash across the centerpiece of an ice Aphrodite sculpture, the Greek goddess of love, that said, "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY".
The initial shock of this surprise had yet not subsided, when Maan felt two soft hands cover his eyes.
"The baby is wishing his papa a very very happy anniversary", whispered a soft melodious voice in his ears, as her soft warm breath tickled his senses.
Pulling her hands down gently, Maan turned to face the epitome of beauty, dressed in a lovely red saree, sporting a slight but very cute baby bump.
She held her ears as she made a pout and said, "I'm sorry... I know you must have been very mad when I left without saying a thing, and pulled that another prank too, but these pregnancy hormones always get the better of me, plus I had to punish you for kissing that girl...", she trailed off, now getting angry at the recollection.
Maan could see another problem brewing up as Geet's face began to contort into an enraged expression, so before that recollection could take over the beautiful moment, he kissed her deeply, wiping all thought process from her mind.
He then gently picked her up, to take her upto the bedroom to consummate their anniversary...
And they lived happily ever after...
