a time to celebrate sacred relationship of husband and wife
celebrate rich and ancient culture of our wonderful country
its deep and meaningful rituals that connect not only husband and wife but also connect families..
a mother to daughter --when mom sends her love and karva with other gifts in form of baya
a bahu with her saas --in form of sargi which is mother in law's love for her bahu
the whole atmosphere is rich,vibrant and
absolutely magical...
some are waiting patiently for moon to show its chaand sa mukhda...
while others like me are really sneaking in on deserts and decorated thaalis..đ
the day itself is special with getting dressed up,doing
16 singaars ;applying mehndi on hands...
wearing red sareees...
ah this day reminds me of life and its purity at its peak...
