Will Shahid bail vishal bharadwaj out?

Actor Shahid Kapoor might step in to save the day for his old friend, filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj after actor Ajay Devgn opted out of one of his new films.

Though Vishal is progressing well when it comes to a movie with actorShah Rukh Khan, he received a set-back when Shah Rukh's rumoured not-so-good-friend,actor Ajay Devgn decided to walk out of one of film titledMatru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola.The film would've had Ajay opposite actor Anushka Sharma for the first time.

"One does not know the reason for Ajay not doing the film. May be he didn't want to do a film like that. He cordially told Vishal that he doesn't want to do a rustic comedy at the moment. And Vishal was in no mood to coax him to change his mind," says a source.

But Vishal was in no mood to shelve this film too, andstarted looking for a hero to step into Ajay's shoes.

Enter rumours of Shahid and Anushka back on friendly termsafter barely being able to stand each other while doing the filmBadmaash Company.

The two had earlier refused to answer question about each other too. But it seems, Anushka is now slowly warming up to Shahid again and has been photographed spending quality time with each other.

With these developments, it seemed obvious for Vishal to rope in Shahid for the film especially after having worked on Kaminay together.

Anushka, apparently, also seemed supportive of the idea. So, enter Shahid Kapoor.

"Shahid responded to Vishal's call, and decided to sit for a narration. He liked the narration and in all probabilities, will sign the film. More so, he has always remained grateful to Vishal for giving himKaminay," the source ends.
