skg-actually according to Star plus their TRPS are not so great...as they should be...

side characters and all were given importance in Geet as well during the first few months of Geet...later they were taken away...or else this show too had a lot characters...but what happened they all left one by one.

As for Star Plus, they have a rule...u HAVE to have side characters...if u notice all the shows on that channel have characters that are given a lot of importance too...star plus is a more of a family channel then star one...so they have to follow the rules hence in the show there are also hints of saas bahu...
