Rekkha pens Smriti's tunes
She's well known for her hard-hitting dialogues, but not everyone is aware that Rekkha Modi is also popular for writing songs.
"I have always wanted to be a lyricist. My first love is still writing songs — many of which I have penned for Kavyanjali, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi." These days, Modi is excited about a new song she has written for the leap episode of Kyunki.
"It's a tribute to Tulsi, and everything that she's gone through. It will be shown on the June 6 episode when the jump happens." Does Smriti sing the song ? "No, it will be played in the backdrop. It's a highly-charged song that describes Tulsi's state of mind."
