I think the whole idea of a mother daughter bond is this mystical special thing to her - and she probably just jumped the gun and told him how a daughter was saving mother...! Its something her character is quite capable of - such verbal and casual negligence in her excitement!

I did think of it as a slip off but still the law is the law. The consequences of this slip off could have been extremely bad. A doctor can't really claim it was just a slip off if they end up in prison for revealing the sex of the baby before being born. So yes for me it was not just a slip off it was pathetic that the writers/producer do not remember this law. I found it extremely funny that rajan shahi had a couple of episodes of yeh rishta kya kehlata hai dedicated to this law but when it came to KTLK he forgot about it completely. Lets see if the writes do something with it or not.

Yaar I toh didn't even dwell on that bit😆...Like Jzee pointed out, they were deffo trying to go for the emotional value in that scene by showing Nidhi telling the guy that his daughter just saved her mother's life...the show doesn't even follow basic medical protocol, law toh door ki baat hai😆

But LMAO I didn't know that Munni squared show actually had a whole epi dedicated to this law...ahahahahaha...then toh this is REALLY ironic🤣

@bold - yes that munni show had not just one episode it was like 3 or 4 episodes I think. Munni and munni ki mummy end up getting arrested because the doctors thought they had come to know the sex of munni's child. 🤣 Instead there was another lady with her daughter-in-law who wanted to know the sex of the child so if it was a girl she could get the child aborted and hence the stupid doctors were confused and thought that munni and her mummy wanted to know the sex of the child. That other lady and her daughter-in-law completely disappeared and they did not even end up in jail. Munni and her mummy enter the hospital and there are posters stating that it is illegal to know the sex of the child and if you do you will be punished but in the end the people who should have been punished just disappeared. 🤣

Yes I should just focus on the characters and forget about the medical procedures or the law. That is my plan from next week. 😆

@JZ - Let me interpret why I think Anu called it Munni squared show😆

The lead male character's name is Naitik but everybody in his family calls him Munna. 😆 and hence his wife is known as Munni. 😆 The family doesn't really call her Munni but she is munni because her husband is munna. 🤣

but why is it squared? anu I have no clue. 😆

Ummm actually that's exactly what I think😈😛...Have you SEEN the guy walk and talk?? There can't be a more effeminate "hero" on TV currently😆...so he's a MUNNI more than a MUNNA...hence Munni squared😛😆

Re: the avis...Horizontal stack pucca coming up soon! Will post it hopefully tonight :-) I need to do caps in a bit first :D...ahh I love this scene😍

OMG ROFL!!! I was right?!! LOL, I think Galool-ing around has helped know your head better - I've never actually seen the show, not even an episode - and from sane public opinion I have known its a safe choice. But Munni sqaured it hereby is 😆

ps: I'm typing everywhere while staring at your dabba, so utterly unable to decide what to choose and fit into mine now, sigh!

I never call him Naitik its always munna cause he is a mama's boy and the adventures of munna and munni are truly out of this world...😃
