Star Desh to launch on 1st January?

The channel which was slated to go on air on diwali has been pushed forward to the new year...

The news of Star One revamping into Star Desh is making rounds these days and we hear that its launch got delayed due to some unavoidable issues.

A source from the industry informs, "The launch of the channel was slotted to go on air by the end of October during Diwali but it got delayed due to which the shoots of all the shows gearing up on the revamped channel have taken a halt. New producers have got a a large time span and an opportunity to make their new projects ready for the channel. The production houses are waiting to hear from the channel to start with their shootings. Few more production houses are coming up with new series for the same channel. Therefore the channel is deciding to launch either in end of December of by 1st of January next year."

Rajita Sharma who is making a magical show for Star Desh asserts, "Our show is not getting delayed but the channel is and we are all set to shoot. As soon as we get a call from the channel we will start shooting for the show."

Aditi Tailang who will be seen in Chota Ganpati's show Khel Khel Mein on Star Desh too cited the same reason for the delay.

A new channel in the New Year will definitely bring some new luck for the channel...

Kya baat hai so all the serials on Star one are safe till jan 1st
kaash they had done something like this with Bidaaii, and ended in sometime in Feb of this year i would have been atleast happy with the happily ever after for Anmol and Ragini and their life with was void for 7 years and with the great way the focus was getting viewers attention

Well bidaai doesnt deserve to end even this year or something. becuase if balika vaddu and uttran are runnging then why not bidaai. all star one shows are low rate but bidaai was their high rated show how could they end it. it deserve to be in sp till now tooo

starplus sathya gaya tha,thats why they shut bidaai

Definatly such instances prick you when you see other shows getting a breather and Bidaaii didn't get

Now a days shows are conventionally given leverage and people get to see the show going , and more over 3 year old shows are still running strong and in slow pace

Geet fans are very lucky. happy for them. but i have a question. can bidaai come in star desh. they understand the worth of the show.

If starplus has copyright of Bidaaii and even plans of its sequel , continuation whatever the channel decides in collaboration with teh production house if it wishes to move its show to another channel its sister channel if stardesh is a part of starnetwork which I presume it is as Star network has many channels just like SONY

If and when and if needed Starplus wants to have Bidaaii back then it may want it to retrain its same time slot as 9 pm , so bidaaii being on a stardesh may not be their thought unless, they think otherwise. So its all the call of the channel and the board of management of teh network if they want any such ideas to work with a show which did extremely well for the channel starplus
