everyone is compared to everyone in the industry what's the big deal, SRK is compared to BIg B all the time, cos he has matched his stardom, any new young actor who makes a splendid debut is compared to SRK, cos he has achieved a lot, and the media feels maybe this new guy has it in him to reach those heights too, whether the new guy achieves it or not is a different issue altogether. SRK keeps saying don't compare me to AB, I have a long way to go before achieving his status, Hrithik says the same about SRK. Big B has created new milestone in Bollywood, @67 he's still working in films and playing the lead, SRK too has created something, still playing a romantic lead @ 45 (in older days heroes would play dads after 40) so all these greats have created a niche for themselves and honestly whether it's Big B or SRK, they do enjoy the comparisons cos u have to be superbly successful to be compared.

DDLJ wld be hit as much without SRK too bcz it was hit bcz of the story, direction, music etc , same with HAHK or MPK or ghazini or 3 idiots but when we see those actors playing those roles we cant imagine someone else in those roles

like i cant imagine srk or aamir or salman Saying Taarikh pe Taarikh or Dhai Kilo ka Haath or Gadar dialogues ...those belongs to Sunny only, I cant see anyone as Dhoom's villain other than John and Hritik in Dhoom 2 ...same way I m sure khan fans believe DDLJ cant be the same without srk and so on ...they have seen khans so they think they cant imagine industry without them , if they were never there someone else wld be there

so Industry is here bcz of everyone, be it actors, directors, actresses, writers etc not bcz of particular few ppl , so its not fair to give whole credit to only khans

my favorite actors when I was little kid was akshay kumar, srk and salman...and I never pay attention to the last names. I like actors because they entertain and dance of course...lol

One of the most hilarious controversies of the early 90s was a song from Khuddar, an action/romance film of Govinda (yes he did those too): "sexy sexy", picturised on Karishma (oh yes, she was Karishma then, with her old nose 😆). The Censor Board was 'outraged' over the lyrics which were later changed to 'baby baby'. LMAO 🤣 It just made the song even more popular.
