I am starting this thread about all the NON-khan actors who are not just THREE in count but so many but with different surnames so what cld be the best short name of the thread than NON-Khan actor thread .

Bollywood or 90s/ 00s era is definitely Not abt Khans only , nor they made what Bollywood is today , they r just a part of it like other actors with some success or some failure in their credit . Other actors do Deserve the Credit too bcz they have also given Bollywood so many memorable movies . So this thread is abt it .

I grew up watching action movies of Sunny , Akshay , Sunil , Sunjay or Govinda's comedy and anil kapoor's movies along with ofcourse salman's, srk's and Aamir's movies who were also arnd that time like so many other hit or flop actors .

During 90s and '00s era there were/are so many talented and amazing actors Bollywood had/have like Sunny Deol, Ajay Devgan, Sunjay Dutt, Govinda, Anil Kapoor , Suneel Shetty, Hritik Roshan etc who gave us so many memorable movies without I can't imagine Bollywood .

Sunny, Anil and Ajay even won national awards bcz of their talent , they did not buy it 😛

so do share ur views abt these actors , their movies , ur memories abt these movies 😃

Actors become known for their talent. If they have talent, they will be recognized regardless if they are a Kapoor, Bachchan, Khan, Deol, Devgan, Roshan, or whatever. The Khans are terrific actors and therefore are recognized in the industry. But that doesn't mean they are the only ones in the industry. You become known for your work and the effect it has on people. The Khans have that effect on people. That's just how it is. It's just a mere coincidence that they all have the last name of Khan.

I dont recall watching any great movies from any of these ppl Sunny Deol, Sunjay Dutt, Govinda, Suneel Shetty 🤢

Sanjay Dutt : Khalnayak and recently THE Munnaibhai series...

Sunny Deol : Damini and recently Gadar...

Govinda : All the slap stick comedies which have later on been taken over by the likes of Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar etc...

Basically the point is, NO one actor can make or break things...And in any case its just not about the actors...Its about the changes that are coming in because of the tastes of the audiences and the talent and vision of the directors...

A DDLJ is what it is today NOT merely because of SRK and Kajol but also because of the director, the timing etc...

A SHOLAY is still deemed as a text book cinema not just because of its actors but the WHOLE unit...INCLUDING the audiences who have accepted the film...

Know what I mean???

Khans or Kumars or Devgans or Bachchans...NONE of these actors could've done anything if they got HORRIBLE directors and the other crew...So its basically the story, screenplay and not to forget - the Music and the whole genre to which the movies belong - that play a major part in creating the magic...

Bottomline - movies MAKE actors...NOT the other way round...Which explains why there are so many FLOP movies of all these super stars...

DDLJ wld be hit as much without SRK too bcz it was hit bcz of the story, direction, music etc , same with HAHK or MPK or ghazini or 3 idiots but when we see those actors playing those roles we cant imagine someone else in those roles

like i cant imagine srk or aamir or salman Saying Taarikh pe Taarikh or Dhai Kilo ka Haath or Gadar dialogues ...those belongs to Sunny only, I cant see anyone as Dhoom's villain other than John and Hritik in Dhoom 2 ...same way I m sure khan fans believe DDLJ cant be the same without srk and so on ...they have seen khans so they think they cant imagine industry without them , if they were never there someone else wld be there

so Industry is here bcz of everyone, be it actors, directors, actresses, writers etc not bcz of particular few ppl , so its not fair to give whole credit to only khans

yah 😛 bcz i was bored of khan thingy and believe me i was thinking to start it since ages but was lazy to do so but after seeing ur cldnt stop my self and it provided me perfect time to start it 😆

I think its the first name that counts and not the surname as each actor have their own acting skills and own talent and they should not be judged by their surname regardless of Deol, Khan's or the Kapoors. I do agree that one of the best era is the 90's where all the movies were really good and the acting was top notch and they do leave an impact. You see them serious in a movie, next you see them in a comedy movie, follow by acting as a hero and the next, the act as a villain. Thats real acting and most of them have done justice. So its not the name but the talent that defines whether is an actor good or bad 😉
