This is basically just a continuation of the previous shot written on a whim 😊 Hope you guys enjoy it 😳

"Kahaan hai yeh ladki?" Preet was at the top of the stairs, his eyes searching everywhere for that girl dressed in blue.

"Kisse dhoond rahe ho?" Prem pulled on his ear.

"Ow PB!" Preet groaned. "Kya kar rahe ho? It hurts."

Prem raised his eyebrow. "Acha bachu? Don't think I'm stupid alright?"

"PB aapki toh shaadi hai na?"

Prem sighed. "Haan toh? Mujhe pata hai ke tu kise dhoond raha hai,"

"Acha?" Preet smiled. "Toh kya aapne usse dekha?"

Prem rolled his eyes as he walked down the large staircase.

"Wait PB!" Preet caught up with him. "Kahaan jaa rahe ho? Uske paas?"

"Nahi." Prem replied. "Meri wali ke paas. Aur sun Preet, tu kuch bhi kar--mere joote dhoond ke la theek hai?"

"Yeah yeah," Preet ignored him before nudging his brother. "You can't go see Heer Bhabhi, not until the wedding anyways aur waise does that mean ke Rinki meri wali hogayi?" Preet raised his eyebrows. "Heer Bhabhi ko bata doon?"

Prem rolled his eyes again. "Tu kabhi nahi sudrega na?"

"Kabhi nahi," Preet winked at his brother with a smirk before walking towards the room where Heer stood in her red shaded saree with her friends.

"Heer Bhabhi,"

"Bolo Preet," she stepped away from her friends.

"Rinki kahaan hain?"

Heer narrowed her eyes at her brother in law. "Kyun?"

"Kya kyun bhabhi?" Preet groaned. "Batao na?"

"Khud hi dhoondlo agar itna desperate ho,"

Preet began walking away until Heer pulled him back. "Waise Preet--why so desperate?"

Preet shrugged her hand off. "Bas aap dekhti jaaiye Heer Bhabhi, main kya kya karta hoon."

Heer didn't realize that Preet had spotted Rinki and was headed her way, stopping to gather some of his friends before he approached her with a smile.

"Kuch chaiye Preet?" She had her hand on her hip and was looking up at him through dark eyelashes.

"Jo chaiye woh toh tum dene se rahi."

She smirked. "And that would be?"

Without saying anymore Preet grabbed her hand and led her into the middle of the stage. "Mujhe pata hai ke PB ke joote tumhare paas hai,"

"Toh?" She raised her eyebrow. "Tumhe chaiye kya?" Preet nodded. "Then go look for them,"

With a laugh she walked back towards her friends.

Preet gestured for his friends to come behind him and started singing. "Dulhe ki saaliyon o hare dupatte vaaliyon, joote dedo paise lelo, joote dedo paise lelo,"

She looked back at Preet with a smile on her face. He was challenging her with a song; really he didn't know what he was getting himself into. "Dulhan ke devar tum dikhalao na yoon tevar, paise dedo joote lelo, paise dedo joote lelo,"
Preet raised his eyebrow at her before reaching out and pulling her close. "Flirting huh?"
"Shuru kisne kiya?" She smirked at him before walking away. "Ajee note gino ji," she walked towards Prem and reached into his pocket before Preet grasped her hand.
"joote lao,"
She glared up at him. "zidd chodo ji,"
"joote lao," He twisted her arm behind her back and laughed seeing her shocked expression.
She pouted before looking up at him. "Fraud hain kya hum?"
"tum hi jaano," he shrugged before letting her go and walking away.
She ran up to him and elbowed him in the ribs. "akado ho tum,"
"jo bhi maano, jo bhi maano, jo bhi maano,"
She sighed loudly before leaning her arm on Prem's shoulder. "ajee baat barregi,"
Preet leaned his arm on the other side of Prem and grinned. "barr jaane do,"
She gestured for money with her fingers and dangled her hand in front of Prem who shrugged off both their hands from his shoulders.
"maang chadhegi,"
"chadh jaane do,"
She glared at him, right up against his body which was hard for her to do. "adho na aise,"
He slipped an arm around her waist and lifted her up against his body. "pehle joote, pehle joote, pehle joote,"
She sighed loudly before staring into his eyes. "joote liye hain nahin churaya koi zevar,"
He lightly traced her right earring feeling the shiver he gave her with a smirk.
"dulhan ke devar tum dikhlao na yoon tevar, paise dedo joote lelo," she jumped out of his arms.
"joote dedo paise lelo," He called after her but saw her heading towards where Heer was waiting.
Rinki emerged from the room with her hand linked through Heer's and was leading her towards the mandap where Prem was already waiting. "Nervous?"
"Petrified," Heer replied with a smile as she sat down next to Prem.
The pandit began reciting the mantra's while Preet went and stood next to Rinki who was watching her elder sister with hazy eyes.
"You okay?" He asked quietly.
She glanced up at him and nodded. "I'm fine,"
"Really?"
"Really,"
He smiled at her and watched as Heer placed her hand in Prem's for their vows. Everyone cheered loudly as they both stood for their phera's, each one symbolizing their undying love for each other. Rinki sighed quietly as Prem placed the mangalsutra around her neck. She saw Heer's smile grow when he pinched the sindoor and placed it through the parting of her forehead.
That ended the wedding and it seemed that Preet was back in his teasing mood as he went and sat down with the rest of the grooms' side for their lunch.
Rinki smirked before gesturing to all her friends to bring trays of food towards him. "kuch thanda pi lo,"
He made a face before declining the bright green liquid. "mood nahin hai,"
"dahi vaade lo,"
He grinned before passing it to a friend. "mood nahin hai,"
She glared at him before shoving the cold stick under his nose. "kulfi kha lo,"
"bahut kha chuke,"
She sighed before offering the green betal leaf. "paan kha lo,"
"bahut kha chuke, bahut kha chuke, bahut kha chuke,"
She huffed at him before standing up and walking away. He was being far too difficult with her and she didn't have all day to run around behind him. Her sister was married after all, that took certain priority for her. She was stopped though by a hand on her shoulder.
"ajee rasmalai,"
Her mouth watered at the sight of the sweet dish but she quickly composed herself pushing it back towards him. "aapke liye,"
He handed her a tray of mithai and raised his eyebrow. "itni mithai,"
She groaned. He wasn't supposed to know so much about her so quickly. "aapke liye,"
"pehle joote," he stuck his empty hand in front of her.
She grinned back at him. "Khaayenge kya,"
"aapki marzi,"
She shook her head and ran towards her sister and new jijaji, "naaji tauba, naaji tauba, naaji tauba,"
He rolled his eyes before pulling the scarf from his neck and tossing it to the side. "kisi betuke shaayar ki besuri qawaaliyon,"
Everyone noticed the way Rinki's eyes widened as she walked up to him but he instead grabbed her arm and twirled her into him, locking her in.
"dulhe ki saaliyon o haare dupatte vaaliyon,"
She twisted in his arms but he simply smirked at her before letting her go. "joote dedo paise lelo,"
She showed him her thumb before rushing up the stairs with her friends. "paise dedo, joote lelo,"
"Woh kahaan bhaag gayi?" Preet frowned.
"Hopefully joote lene gayi hogi," Prem sighed looking down at his bare feet.
Heer smiled and nodded towards the stairs. "She's coming back."
Preet straightened up before walking towards her, catching sight of the shoes behind her arm. He stuck his arm behind her and grabbed hold of the shoes and tugged but her grip was too tight.
"They're mine."
"Technically they're Prem's" she retorted, tightening her grasp around them.
"Come on," Preet grinned, hoping she'd fall for the charm but if she hadn't so far--it was a long shot now.
"Nope." She tugged hard before rushing off to where Prem and Heer stood. She lowered the shoes and sat down on them before Prem could slip his foot into them. "Pehle paise."
"Rinki kya kar rahi ho, get up," Heer said quietly.
"Not until we get our haq." She replied happily.
Prem sighed before reaching into his sherwani pocket and taking out a wad of bills. Rinki decided not to wait for him to count some out and grabbed the entire wad and running away.
"Preet rok usse!" Prem shouted after his younger brother who raced after the girl.
They both headed upstairs and Preet watched as she pushed through glass doors and disappeared behind them. He pushed through as well and the cold air surprised him. They were up on the dark balcony and he had lost sight of her. The moon wasn't providing any help since it had disappeared behind the clouds.

"Now look for me," her soft voice taunted him.

He glanced back but all he could see were dark shadows. Then he saw a figure move and raced towards her, grabbing onto a bangle covered hand. "Gotcha."

He pulled her gently into him and could feel her breathing low. "Are you scared?"

"Why would I be?" She asked back.

"Because--you're letting yourself get close."

"Close?"

"To me,"

"Are you really under that misconception Preet?" she replied in a laughing voice.

"Call it what you will but we both know the truth."

"Acha?"

"That's why even though I've let go of your hand a few moments ago, you're still standing this close to me."

She moved away slightly but he pulled her back. "I know Heer Bhabhi was just joking before at the sangeet, but--"

"But?" Rinki prodded.

"Maybe we Juneja's should bring another baraat to this house soon."

She smiled up at him in the new moonlight. "Acha? That's what Heer said to you?"

He smirked down at her. "Haan--she saw the obvious attraction you felt for me when we first met."

"Oh yes, it was very obvious wasn't it?"

"Very," he teased. "So she decided that this was the best option. Personally though I think she's selfish," He lightly pulled her closer to himself.

"Aur woh kaise?" she whispered.

"She wants you close to her--so she's sacrificing me," he said in a low voice.

"But of course," she grinned at him as his hands touched her bare waist. "And you're not objecting to that?"

"Why would I?" He grinned, leaning his forehead down to hers. "I'm getting an amazing wife in the deal."

She moved back from him and stared into his chocolate colored eyes. Hesitantly she stood on her tip-toes and gasped as his lips crashed down on hers hungrily.

They had both seen in movies how people fell in love at weddings but neither of them had ever imagined it happening to them but it had and quite perfectly so.

I'm extremely sorry for the delay, Meera!

Firstly, I don't log in as I do before.. Since, u had reduced the habit of writing, I felt useless to log in often.. So, I found out the shot late!

Secondly, I read it through my phone and damn my phone for not allowing me to comment right then..

Regarding the one shot and the continuation, I liked it very much as I'd do always! A bear hug for resuming your writing and I'm looking for more and more because I can never get enough of your works! Love you sooo much, Meera! Please open up the 'drabbles' whenever you do one..

Thanks for the PM and take care! 😊
