| Contrary to reports that Rana has been shelved, the film's producer Eros International has issued a press statement to put an end to all confusion. According to the press statement, Rana's shooting schedules will be finalized during the month of December, keeping in mind Rajnikanth's health conditions. The director of Rana, KS Ravi Kumar has said, "Though Rajinikanth has recovered fully well and is keen to start the shooting, we have delayed the start of the shooting, as we don't want to rush him to start the film shooting immediately, as the film has Rajini playing triple role and has some stunning stunt sequences." Sunil Lulla, Managing Director, Eros International Media Ltd stated: "It is a proud project for us and we don't mind waiting to be a part of this ambitious project with Rajinikant as we want him to rest for some more time. Hence we have decided to take the decision on the shooting dates in December 2011." |
