When ASR told off Khushi in his office about being honest he was talking about the note he knew she wrote as La. That made him very angry. In today's episode when he saw the plants which is not what really made him come to La. It was suicide note that he thought La was going to kill herself if he didn't come to stop her from committing suicide.
I saw no indication that he knew that the note came in fact not from La but from Khushi. What will ASR do when he finds out that Khushi lied again and played him totally into coming to see La and taking her back? Khushi must have felt that the gift of all those plants would not be enough to get ASR to come and see La, the note would have to include something drastic hence the threat of La's suicide.
Did he come there to prevent La's apparent suicide or did he come due to the enormous number of plants sent to his office? He came because of the note. Also why didn't he see through the note which was written in Hindi? Wouldn't La pen her last communication to him in English? And if she was going to kill herself wouldn't she rather call him one last time in some sort of desperate effort to see him one last time?
If ASR can see through Khushi's lame attempt at the first letter why couldn't he see through the second letter? One reason could be because Khushi did not deliver the note or the plants herself. This begs the question, how mad will ASR get with Khushi compounded with the fact that he may have gotten some idea about how Khushi feels about him and he about her.
But when he finds out that she made one last try to get ASR and La together but took the drastic and might I add unethical step of suggesting La's life was in danger just to get him to come see her and that possibly there might be a reconciliation simply because La would kill herself if he didn't take her back - IMO this will make ASR very angry at the person who used an extreme lie to get him to bring La back into his life.
This is like the time Khushi pretended to faint and asked him to get her some water and when he got her the water, Khushi had escaped a possible confrontation with ASR. But when that confrontation finally did take place it was much worse than if she hadn't pretended to faint. Then too she played on his emotions knowing that he would be concerned for her if she fainted.
And I think and guess that this truth about the fake suicide note will come out in the ME. It will be a while before ASR figures out that it was Khushi who sent the plants and the fake suicide note. She basically played ASR for a 2 cent banjo. Question is what will ASR do? How cheated will he feel and how angry will he get with the backdrop of a now mutual attraction on both sides now out in the open?
PS: In today's episode I saw no indication from ASR that he knew it was Khushi who sent the plants or the note, if he had he wouldn't have showed up to La's apartment and he wouldn't have taken her back something he said he wouldn't do. He only changed his mind when the idea of a potential suicide came in. Khushi on the other hand has no trouble manipulating ASR, she knows which buttons to push and what to do when ASR refuses to budge from his decision. She knew the note would have to include some big whopper of a lie and she used it to her full advantage. In this respect Khushi has lost her innocence. What would her Devi Maiya say to her use of underhanded tactics like a fake suicide note?
