After the super success of all the seasons of 'Bigg Boss', the makers are ready to roll out the fifth season of the biggest reality show on Indian television. With the advent of the new edition, speculation about the selection of inmates is spreading like fire.

If sources are to be believed, the key inmates at the house would be Shakti Kapoor, Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, Amarr Upadhyay, Akashdeep Saigal, Shonali Nagrani, Mahek Chhel, Pooja Misra, Juhi Parmar, Sumeet Saigal, Shradha Sharma, Raageshwari, Sayali Bhagat and Lisa Ray.

Among the guest appearances, boxer Mike Tyson, pop singer Shakira, Mexican actress Barbara Mori, along with soap queen Ekta Kapoor are likely to make an entry.

Since the time Bigg Boss 5 was announced, one question which intrigued the small screen viewers was 'Who all are going to be the inmates this season?' Speculations were doing rounds for a long time and some made it to the headlines. Even during the press conference, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt claimed to be unaware about the final list. However, now according to the market speculations and highly placed sources from Bigg Boss house, here are the names of people who are going to be arrested in the house of Bigg Boss. Interestingly, all the contestants are females barring one- Shakti Kapoor. This also seems like an deliberate effort to grab headlines as he is often accused of being a womaniser.

Shakti Kapoor: The list starts with the controversial figure of Bollywood, Shakti Kapoor. He is not only known for playing comic characters in movies, but also for the most controversial sting operation.

Raageshwari Loomba: Raageshwari is an Indian pop singer, actress, model, television anchor and former MTV VJ.


Pooja Misra: Pooja is a model turned actress and popular ramp model.

Sonika Kaliraman: Sonika Kaliraman is an indian wrestler and has been featured in reality show - Khatron Ke khiladi.

Pooja Bedi: Pooja is the daughter of actor Kabir Bedi and is a former Bollywood actress. Pooja worked in Bollywood films, and appeared in many commercials. The actress has also been part of talk shows and reality shows on small screen.

Shonali Nagrani: Shonali won the pageant of former Miss India International in 2003. Also, she is an Indian film actress and model and has appeared in Hindi language films.

Laxmi Tripathi: Laxmi Tripathi, a tall beautiful and handsome transgender. She is confident and vocal about her opinion, and fights to protect the rights of her people.

Juhi Parmar: Juhi is a well known TV personality and a versatile anchor, actress, Television Presenter, singer and dancer. She has essayed many important roles in serials like Shaheen, Kumkum and Devi.

Vida Samadzai: Vida is Miss Afghanistan 2003 and the first Afghan woman to participate in an international beauty pageant.

Mandeep Bevli: Mandeep is an anchor and has worked for various channels. Mandeep specializes in hosting shows related to Bollywood rumours.

Mahek Chahal: Mahek who shares a strong friendship with Salman Khan and has also entered Bollywood with his recommendation.

Nihita is Nepali wife of Sobhraj, who is in prison since his arrest in Kathmandu in 2003. Sobhraj has allegedly committed at least 12 murders.

Pooja, who hogged into limelight with 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar', will be one of the contestants of the 'Bigg Boss 5'. She was earlier seen in the reality shows like 'Nach Baliye', 'Khatron ke Khiladi' and the most recent being 'Maa Exchange.

Known for often courting controversies, actor Shakti Kapoor is another contestant, while other names include actress Mahek Chahal, who was seen in Salman Khan-starrer 'Wanted' and performed an item song in recently released film 'Yamla Pagla Deewana'.

Mahek hopes to stay in the house for the entire period and emerge as the winner. This will be her second reality show. She was earlier part of a Norwegian reality show where she was the only Asian participant, sources closed to the actress said.

Shonali Nagrani, a model-turned-actress, has made appearances in films like 'Dil Bole Hadippa' and 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' and has hosted a couple of TV shows as well.

Actress Shraddha Sharma who had grabbed eyeballs for her alleged relationship with ex-beau Raja Chaudhary, estranged husband of television actress Shweta Tiwari is also participating in the show.

Shradha was last seen in 'Emotional Atyachaar' and 'Love Lockup' on Bindaas channel, has been maintaining a low-profile for quite sometime.

Celebrity transgender and social activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi has also made it to the list in keeping with the tradition. Earlier, the likes of actor Bobby Darling and designer Rohit Verma had represented sexual minorities in 'Bigg Boss'.

Laxmi was also seen in other reality shows like 'Sach Ka Saamna' and 'Raaz Picchle Janam Ka'.


Among other participants are TV actress Juhi Parmar, best known for her role as the title character 'Kumkum', Raageshwari Loomba, a singer-actor-VJ, who acted in hit films, including David Dhawan's 'Aankhen' and 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari', Pooja Mishra, a model-VJ and a socialite who had earlier been part of 'The Big Switch' on Bindass channel.

International personalities like former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, Colombian singer Shakira and former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes, are likely to enter the house at a later date.

The 14 handpicked strangers will be locked in the house for about three months with over 55 cameras following their every move 24x7.

The contestants will have to do all household chores right from cleaning the washrooms to cooking with a handful of morsel to waking up in the wee hours to obeying the 'Bigg Boss' house rules.

It is more or less comfirm that Juhi is in BB ... and none of her Fan is happy with this development. and that I m extremly sure

I dont understand what happend to juhi why the hell she is keen on taking such a realiy show which is going to destry her image...

I m really very disappointed with this if Juhi have taken a decision to enter in BB... I myself a big fan of BB just because Bb is full of nautanki ... and would never want juhi to be a part of such nautanki ...

i just cross my finger and hope for the best

but one thing for sure if juhi is in BB( that it willl be a great bonus for BB team and a huge lost for juhi and her fan)

what to do it is almost confirm that Juhi is in BB .. the Sad part is that we all know juhi very well ... she is not at all diplomatic and a straight forward ... and a hot tempered gal ... BB is not for her ...
