Hey guys!
thought it would be better this weekend..but oh well, here i go in points, addressing my views, outlined a bit in all the latest posts about story/track/character/love/hate/shyam/la/etc etc etc
1. STORY
There's a difference between a plot and a story
A plot is usually shorter and ends say within a 2-3 months or 4-5 months or longer.
A story is the entire framework in which plots are developed.
A story is the framework into which the characters are embedded. They interact, they create relationships, they break bonds etc etc within that framework.
For which- the framework has to be made. The characters' need to be shown as embedded in the social world they inhabit.
Think about it.
We have a story in this show. we have characters that are so so imperceivably seeing new sides to themselves.
2. Characters
Arnav- is the anti-hero. The point is for him to be hated YET LOVED.
He has softer shades. His pen-portrait is sketched with light and dark shades. But he's a gray character.
He doesn't know what's going on where khushi is concerned.
He doesn't KNOW it . IF realization comes so fast, they might as well shut shop.
How will frustrations, traumas, painful understanding, guilt and so on come if he jut realizes, oh I'm attracted to khushi, now i have to stay away.
It will come- but let him develop more- let him interact more.
LA- YEs, i have major problems with her character. she's portrayed as a bimbo almost- but she was crucial to arnav-khushi interaction. Their differing viewpoints; khushi's ability to see arnav's soft side and arnav to see hr playful nature- in a more homely environment. Not office- where he's formal.

Shyam- 'nut said. He'll be exposed after heightening of emotion/frustration between arnav and khushi or it will have no impact
Khushi- ah the silly, jhalli, yet sensitive female pro tag. Weak, delicate with an iron will. She's a flawed beauty.
Like everyone, she's gray. She's also selfish in a way. She apologizes when HER conscience pricks her too much- otherwise she doesn't care what happens.
But I'm not judging her!
She's interesting.
3. Romance/love
Not yet.. attraction- physical and soul. BUT the mind has to process it. Khushi's mind is repressing.
Arnav's is repressing violently but it comes through still.
Empathy has been produced between us. Both know there's been pain in the other's life.
Both have lost their parents.
greater understanding is leading to changing of feelings..
BUt..it's slow. arnav doesn't trust. and khushi has been too hurt by him to trust him again.
TRUST needs to be built up and that's a long process.
4. HAte-LOVE
My last point as always is about hate and love.
intense emotions connect them while reality will separate them đ
5. Creatives
As an aside. I know all of us here are very very creative
But , to actually sit there and pen down each and every aspect is their job. It's their product and they will NEVER want to ruin it.
EVER.
Their livelihood depends on it.
it's extremely easy for us to sit and say oh creatives are this and that( no offense to anyone)
but none would actually hold the bar of responsibility if handed to them.
And yes, the writers who've made the story- KNOW It.
we don't. So how can we say CV's have lost it when they haven't even SHOWN it yet?đ

I wish I had more time right now to elucidate more clearly what I'm trying to say about all these things..
But I hope that some of us realize that it takes patience.

I really love the way the story is progressing, which it IS.
I appreciate how characters are so so subtly developing coz there are so many contrary impulses in them- complex, like all of us are in life.
I suggest, enjoy the ride! it's going to be a long bumpy one! but it's going to be awesome too!
And no- I don't think arshi will 'get-together' it's about their coming together and going apart in the world- always in flux..never stable- hence the dramatic element.đł
