What if Abhay can't tell the truth to Piya about Khurana's identity, he can atleast lie to her. It would be better than breaking her heart this way. He could have told her that somehow Dipannita and Neil had come to know of the vampires' identity and was waiting for every chance to expose them. The vampire clan had to dispose them as they cannot afford their identity to be revealed. But even before that both Dipannita and Neil escaped to a safe place. Now the Raichands are not sure if Jeh and Alina are aware of the fact, and hence Chaand had asked Abhay to keep an eye on Alina to check if she or Jeh are aware of their truth. So he is helpless and he has to be with Alina. He could also add that even Arnab is suspecting them and he would like to request Piya to keep an eye on Arnab and try to pitch in, if Arnab tries to make any attempt in exposing down. I think this would surely calm her down for some time.
