I am posting this at the request of my Didi who is a teacher. I don't care how many hate mails i get for this but yesterday's episode was the last straw. For the 1st time my sis called me (STD call) & rave & ranted for 30 mins coz of this disgusting serial. She has a son who has dyslexia & he has been watching this Gopi's school track with lots of interest coz apparently he identifies himself with her. He keeps telling tat how hard working she is & keeps telling my sis that ll he also get gud marks if he puts lot of efforts like Gopi. Yesterday he was heart broken & tearful. He yelled at my sis & said that if she doesn't stop watching this crap he ll break the TV. My sis was really distressed due to this incident. I know many ppl may find this silly or stupid or mayb amusing. Why the hell s'd ppl get so much involved with a stupid serial but then only yest it dawned on my sis how powerful the visual media is in affecting ppl's mind. It has impacted so much the thought process of a 11 yr old kid. This is indeed disgusting & really dangerous. My nephew's quest to my sister at the end of the episode was does this mean evil ll always triumph over good. Will hardword, sincerity & dedication never pay off. Wat was horrible was all those kids & teachers at school & all the family members at Modi house r so concerned bt Gopi's welfare & still at the end only those 2 bitches (sorry for the word) win once again. I dont want another stupid post saying that these days only 50% of the Kalakari works these days. This is not some discount sale during Diwali/Newyear where u talk bt discount %es. What made my sis more furious was since she is a teacher she knows so many people who do this voluntary job of a scribe & write the exam for blind ppl in her school. So they ended up degrading all those wonderful Samaritans who do this social service of helping handicapped ppl appear for written exams. Shame on Star Plus & shame on the directors/writers🤢

My sis is planning 2 contact that govt dept whose details all these channels keep flashing saying that if u find any of the content of the pgm objectionable, plz contact us. She is planning 2 lodge a strongly worded complaint to stop showing such puke worthy stuff on TV.

Hope gud sense prevails & the writers of this show come 2 their senses & spare us all these nauseating stuff going forward. I really wonder how this serial is on the top wen it comes to TRP.

You know this was my thought today ...gopi has alot of young fans that watch her... i don't think what rashi did was good... even if it is a show. they really need to show good(gopi) wins over evil(rashi)

Angels11 well not just u we felt the same..it really was disgusting and as Anju also said there are so many young fans out there who are idolizing Gopi..following her dedication and appreciating it..so those kids got a totally wrong message yesterday..

so i really don't blame you for reacting this way...and the only way i see to rectify this blunder by CVs is if they show the school authorities complain against rashi and she is given her walking papers, which i don't see happening exactly...

this serial should be shown at a time when kids dont watch TV..this is more like a phychotic horror show or if there is anything more worse than that, this can be binned into it... The only reason we perhaps watch (or in my case read the wriiten updates), is because we are taught to be optimists and to keep on going even after tough times.. but I dont think we can go on after 18 months. If your sister lodges a compliant let us all know, how we can help.. I feel morally obligated to protest to such things that spoil human values to be shown on TV

This was really wrong of CVs... especially the test taking... I was alway taught not to cheat on test or learning , because later in life you have only cheated yourself... What a wrong message this is senting to our young children.

But not many ppl are commenting on this post. Does that mean that me & my sis r in minority & most of the ppl though a little unhappy w'd still forgive the writers if they show Gopi getting a PASS. But somehow i feel that's unacceptable. Why should she just clear the exams wen she actually deserves top marks for all her hardwork & dedication.

Some ppl ve commented on other threads as to how Ahem's reaction was not acceptable. But i find his reactions totally acceptable. When he has slogged so much & put more efforts than Gopi herself & then he comes across this stuttering stammering dumbo who cant even help herself then wats the point. Koki & Ahem cant b with her all the time 2 protect her. Wen ll this doormat stand up 4 her rights & use her brains a little. How can some1 b so stupid enuf to not realize Ratie's evil intentions even aft so many fiascos 😡

well i'm just going to answer ur 1st que..many are probably not commenting cz many are not online right now..usually people are mostly online here just after the show has aired..even i'm here thanks to a fluke as i'm at college n came online to get some research done for my assignment..so even i gotta leave right now ..so won't be back until night time..
so i guess more replies will follow cz most f the people probably share ur views...and people will accpet her just passing myself included cz well we have no other choice..and unfortunately with Hindi serials we have learnt to live with the handful of happy moments we get...

I do agree with whatever you said. It is totally unacceptable especially after the character Gopi was chosen as the ambassador for literacy program in rural parts of India. And Ahem has full right to be mad at her because Gopi could have asked the teacher to get alternative help when Rashi did not turn up in time. I will wait for today's episode and see how the teachers are going to mark gopi's paper and if they will inform MM people about Rashi's irresponsible behaviour. I feel very sorry for what your sister and nephew went through after watching today's episode, but please convey him the message that this foolishness happens only in serials, but not in real life. In the end only good will win over evil however long it may take!

agree with your point that they are not showing good values in the serials...

But one thing you have to understand also that entertainment industry doesn't take responsibility for this...Although on the face they'll say that we intend to show good values, but the fact is that whatever will work for them in gaining trp's they'll show...They really don't care about what audiences are thinking..look at the movies...today u just can't watch a single movie with your parents..either the thinking has to be liberal or you have to watch it alone...and i guess many peope chose the latter option.

i know that poor boy doesn't understand these things at such early age, but the fact is that he is relating himself to a very unreliable source...I mean who knows, for the sake of experiment, the cv's might turn gopi as villain in future...then he will again feel heartbroken

I hope I haven't hurt your feelings in any possible way
