My sis & nephew ve completely stopped watching this serial. Since this is the 1st time that they r in North India during Navratri my sis is spending the time instead in dressing up herself & her kids & go 2 the Pandal for prayer :-) Time better spent in praying rather than watching this SHIT!

Wats even more horrible is that Dumbo Gopi & Ratie's Kalakaries ve defeated even the Great BIG B. The latest news is that SNS has pushed KBC down to #2 in the ratings. Too much 🤢

Hi! I just came across your post, I am sorry I missed it earlier.

My 11 year old daughter watches this show, only on some days our tv would be set on star plus a 7 pm, most days my father in-law is watching the news. When the ten day challenge track started my whole family started watching the show. My daughter was so excited when Gopi was learning. When Gopi was taking the test, she kept talking to the tv set, saying things like let me write the answers for you, don't take your cousin. So I explained to her the exam is in Hindi and she wouldn't be able to write the answers, she thought it would be in English, since she is always reading the subtitles and translations. She was so disappointed and I realized how involved she got with Gopi and her education. She was sad when Gopi didn't get to finish the paper because of Rashi. She says to me mom how come Rashi is so mean to her sister? I couldn't answer her. I couldn't tell her they are no sisters but cousins, because I would have to explain to her about Gopi's life. She would still be left confused. I don't have any nieces, she is the only girl on both side of the family is loved by all her cousin brothers because they don't have sister. My cousin has two daughter's and my daughter is very close to them, so she wouldn't understand how one cousin can be so mean to the other.

I did not let her watch yesterday's episode. I told everyone to go back to watching the news channel during dinner. I think it's best if I don't let her watch the show.
I understand how your sister must have felt at her son's questions. As I mentioned in one of my posts watching Rashi and her smirkes that day was making me physically I'll, I wanted to strangle her. I was also very frustrated with Gopi. I had high hopes that she would open her mouth and say something, but she did not.
I know Gopi's childhood was filled with mental, emotional and physical abuse. She is very timid and fears everyone and everything, sometimes I wonder if she will ever overcome this without any professional help. But then wouldn't there be a day when the pressure is too much, e erything has it's limit, doesn't she want to just start shouting one day. I would think that even most timid and abused person would break under this kinds of condition.

Anyways it's good that your sister is lodging an official complain. We should all do this.
I hope you posted this also on the starplus website. I know not only our forum but many people are upset about this and the fact that Urmila and Rashi will once again get off without any form of punishment.

Of course it's an evil show, the main character is close to god, she prays everyday and before every endeavour for example the test she prays but god doesn't come through for her, instead the evil sister whatever she wants happens...kids are easily influenced and will start doing the same kalakaries as they will believe either no god exists or he is just observing only and does nothing.

But this show even adults get influenced by it and start doing kalakaries in real life.

Hi Angel.. Sorry ji I don't know your name.. All I want to say is Thank you for telling everyone the extent to which this serial affects all of us. Hopefully one of us is actually in contact with the CVs and will inform them. Thats exactly what I have been trying to say.. Infact all of us. My post on Morals addressed this. Every serial portrays a moral and whilst Saathiya does show morals, it gets hidden by this disgusting portrayal of a weak Gopi. I also thing that education is very important for Gopi's character to continue because it forms the foundation of her character.. Its the biggest barrier and the needs to be sorted.
What is it about this serial.. is the TRPs high because the public likes to see torture.. I hope not..
Firstly Id like to congratulate your sister and wish her luck with her son. Its amazing how a mother can be soo caring. Also, please do pass my regards to ur sister and her family, specially her son and do pass my following message..😊😃
Dear, hardwork is very important in life, specially when ur doing uni. because it builds your career and your future.. Always work hard because the only place where success comes before work is the dictionary. So work hard in your life and continue to succeed. Thats all. Im sure Gopi will also succeed because she worked hard.. Take care
Now Angel..We definately dont find it stupid that you have posted this...Now Most of the forum members are sure that Gopi will pass and lets hope that she does. Meanwhile take care and Thanks once again.
Kashish 😃

ya thats true, if the serial is promoting something which is usual for the society such as education for females, health, protest against the evil side of the people...than the channels should not encourage bad things, since they are spreading moral to the society that there is no never late to school...
Gopi will definitely has to pass, thats true she will definitely pass, but why not Rashi will be caught even at this situation...
why the serial is looking only for the TRp's rather than any ethics to the society...
