apparently, they are slowly letting in the people who had registered earlier for beta testing. however, the rate at which they are letting the users in is very VERY slow. i have not gotten in yet. Still waiting for my "welcome email." They are supposed to get all the early registration people (all 1,000,000) in by September 30th! Sometime in the beginning of October, the site is supposed to open for all fans across the world.

What is inside pottermore?

well, there apparently is a sorting hat ceremony (you get sorted into a house!!!) and you get your wand, and pets, and books, and stuff. You get information about the books and characters that the world has never had access to. You can play games (like making potions, a quidditch match, or something) to increase you house points and stuff. Oh, i think you also have money in the Gringotts bank.

that is all i know about pottermore without being in yet. I know that I just made it sound very unexciting.😆 but people who are already in are liking what they are seeing. so i guess it should be good.

alright, so i got the welcome email today and i am in Pottermore! finally! i am just writing to share my wand details with you guys because I found it very amusing. My wand is made from the wood, Black Walnut, and has the core of a phoenix feather. I realized that the only character with a black walnut wand in the series is Bellatrix Lestrange!😆 go figure! except hers has a dragon heartstring as her core. just thought i'd share!😆

Harry Potter star, Emma Watson, is being lined up to star in a new version of the classic fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast. The next in a long line of adaptations of the classic story, in which a merchant's daughter falls in love with a rich but hideous beast, is thought to already be in pre-production.

Denise Di Novi, the producer of Crazy, Stupid, Love told Comingsoon.net that she is developing the adaptation with Guillermo Del Toro.

Del Toro, director of Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy, is currently working on the monster movie, Pacific Rim, after passing The Hobbit back to the original Lord of the Rings director, Peter Jackson.

The final film in the Harry Potter saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two is in cinemas now.
