*sigh*...i somewhat agree with you in a few places...why didn't the other people say anything? there's a term for this sort of action in psychology called the" bystander apathy"...most of us social animals -- clearly above 95 % of human beings tend to not intervene in an emergency situation -- didn't this happen in the jessica lal murder case? out of 300 witnesses , only 2 owned up that they saw the murder...right? what actually happens is most of us start occuring through the diffusion of responsibility that moment ..because we perceive responsibility to be shared among all the other bystanders present..whereas , most of them want to own up the goodness of everything , but no it can't happen with so many people around...the vibe of taking the complete responsibility of doing a good deed comes in our minds 75 % of the time at that point of moment...which we don't want to share...i hope you are understanding what i am trying to say...this is not cinematic folly at least in this prospect...this happens in day to day life...in delhi...so many women abuse cases happen in the streets in front of everyone...nobody says a single word.this is nothing new...this uncanny sense of humans being obedient to the ones in authority of the situation , regardless a good \bad person in authority ..humans find themselves easily complying to the demands of others. it is basic human psychology if you think about it...
