I agree with you. I mean, if her family is falling apart why would she stay away with Arushi getting taunted and the son and DIL going through so much.

She quit the show couple of weeks back with issues related with ankit(adarsh) breakup of their offscreen relation! Things got really worse once they r no longer couple! Like their was a scene were nainaji slaps adarsh for talking bad with his dad but she took it to whole another level n slapped him for real n too hard that ankit demanded to have her or him n wanted to leave, so then came dubai job track where they resolved n he cameback but she quit saying she has better show opportunities her way!!

Huge drama!! N all this created whole lotta tension in sets at that time around!! 😕

I agree, it seems quite unrealistic. They should have shown a few scenes here and there of the family talking to Naina on the phone, then they should have shown Shyamu informing Nainaji of the tragedy and she should have immediatly packed up her bags and be home by now.

Characters shouldn't just disappear. It's high time a replacement for Monika was brought in.
