Who's leading the star pack on TV?

In a closely matched contest, actorHrithik Roshan was voted the best TV show host in a survey conducted recently. Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who's show is scoring the most right now in terms of TRPs, came at a close second, while actor Akshay Kumar ranked third. The fact that Hrithik had got the highest opening (a cumulative TRP of 4.7) for a reality show this year also helped him clinch the deal, feel industry insiders.

"Hrithik emerged on top in a survey conducted across 3,548 respondents to determine the best television show host in India. The TG (target group) was 15-44 year olds, females and males in the SEC ABC and among Hindi GEC viewers and Hrithik was voted the best host on a reality show. He scored over Amitabh and Akshay," read the survey conducted by Ormax Media, a research and consulting firm specialising in the media and entertainment industry.

Hrithik, of course was happy when he received the news, but the first reaction came from his good friend Karan Johar who told After Hrs that he has never missed an episode of Hrithik's show.

"There could be no other choice for this show, but Hrithik. What he brought to the show with his presence no one else could have. Not only is he the best dancer we have, but also someone who is dedicated, sincere and a perfectionist," said Karan.

However, there have been no confirmations from Hrithik whether he will be part of the second season of the show.

I'll still state what I've previously stated - Hrithik is a fail on TV, and so is the show which he is a part of.

Ok as much as I love Hrithik,this survey just sounds so un-authentic,I mean he's not even the host of just dance,if he were voted best judge that would make more sense.
From what I've heard this show is not doing as well as it was expected to, and these articles just sound like a last ditch attempt to make the show sound like it's at the top.
I love HR but he is usually quite socially akward,even he has said so, so perhaps a reality show was not the best thing for him.

Agree,they both have such a fantastic connect with the audiences and the contestants on their shows.

yeah,. coz right now KBC is rockign coz Big B is funny some of the time and they way he is with the contestants
