What if you were Gunga?

I just had a marathon viewing of the show, watched about 4-5 episodes together. And I was shocked to see Ganga's behaviour with Gunga (Robot). One day she's yelling at him, one day she's slapping him left, right and center, and even beating him with a stick, that too after she's been told this sort of violence will land her in jail 😲. Then again, in today's MahaEpi, she actually treated him like he was half-human šŸ˜• (yet she didn't forget to call him names in the end).
Now, Gunga intrigues me... Why isn't he allowed to speak? (the one time he was asking what to make for dinner, SS stopped him midway)... is there any reason for that? Where did Gunga come from? What role will he play in the future? Is there any chance of his character turning negative?
But what really interests me is whether he will fall in love with Ganga? Is it possible to fall in love with a girl like Ganga, even after he has seen that she is a self-centered girl who thinks too much of herself and her newfound Thakurain status? Is it possible to fall in love with a girl who doesn't think twice before beating him black and blue?
Imagine you were Gunga... could you fall in love with Ganga? Or would you run to the police at the first chance you got, complaining of servant abuse? Would you try to save Ganga from Sajjan Singh or would you try to get revenge from Ganga?
So, I'd like to know... What would you do if you were Gunga?

if i m in place of gunga definatly i report 2 police agst ganga and show her her aukat.and defiantly tell her that in the name of saving of her family she has choosen the wrong/short cut way..power,money...she always say that she knows this she knows that then she should do the work/labour for her livelihood.not marrying a married old age person and destroy the happy family for her own greed.sab logo ko paisa chahiye, ghar chahiye.to khud mehnat karo naki kisi aur ke ghar mein chori karo.

I think that he is a slave - whose parents, like Ganga's - owed SS money they could not repay. I think he is not permitted to speak for fear of what will happen to his family. I think they have more in common than Ganga realizes, the only difference being that she is a girl that SS found attractive.

I agree with all of the above. Gunga is no different from Ganga apart from the fact that he can't tempt anyone in the Niwas. And I feel that his flute is his only salvation in that absurd house. Gunga has no family there, noone to talk to about his situation, and therefore we are not privy to it and what goes on in his head. But that fact that he doesn't outwardly agree to what Ganga says or get involved in any way, shows us he is a smart fellow. The silence of Gunga cannot be mistaken for cowardice, rather it's the courage of someone who is forced to bear the injustice heaped upon servants of the lower class in the Niwas. His incredible character shows him to be superior to Ganga, perhaps not by birth but by conduct.
If I was Gunga, I would get the heck out of that place, because Prats will not be there all the time to protect him and defend what is right. Noone else seems to care how servants are treated. Yeah, the topic maker has pointed out how Ganga has talked to him as if he was half-human in the episode. But it's only for the sake of having someone lend her a sympathetic ear. Someone who isn't related to the Thakurs and can't go and report her, noone is going to believe him. Gunga keeps mute because he has no choice, not because he has no opinion.
I highly suspect that Ganga will fall for him and somehow it will make her wish she never laid eyes on Thakur, but hopefully Gunga makes a run for it.

Ohhh... I like your idea, didn't even think of it! What if Gunga pretends to fall in Ganga for revenge, but also so that the two can run away with lots of money from the TN? 😲 Maybe he's even greedier than Ganga?

Trina, you've analysed even a silent character so well šŸ‘ I do agree, he seems to be a smart fellow, he never nods to Ganga on things he doesn't agree on. He agreed and nodded yes when Ganga said Komal's miscarriage was unfortunate, but he did not shake his head no when she said that she wasnt responsible.
I agree with you, I want Ganga to fall in love with Gunga, but not for him to reciprocate. I do not feel it is possible to fall in love with someone who treats you like dirt.

i want2 c ganga when SS wills how his true colour and intention of marrying her
i want 2 c wat will be her reaction in suhagraat
will she be as happy and enjoy the consumation with SS as now she is enjoying the thakurain status

Even I want to see this. Uptil now, Gaanga has only seen SS's anger on his family members. She doesn't realize that soon his anger will shift to her. The day she sees SS in his true avatar, I think she will rush to the exit at the first chance she gets.
