How did you enter the TV world?
I began my career with regional ads and serials in Kolkata. Later, I came to Mumbai and things worked out. Contiloe Productions called me for an audition. They believed in my potential and asked me to do this show.

What are your current projects on TV?
Presently. I have Suno… Har Dil Kuch Kehtha Hai on Sahara One. I have also acted in movies
and in an ad. I performed in Gautam Ghosh's Yatra with Nana Patekar and Rekha, which will release next month. I was even associated with the game-show movie
'Hum Dum'. There are some upcoming projects, which I can't mention now.

How much do you relate to the character in Suno… Har Dil Kuch Kehtha Hai?
In Suno… Har Dil Kuch Kehtha Hai I have a positive role who is responsible and helpful. In this way, I am very related to my character.

Did you always want to be an actor?
I dreamt of being an actor since I was young.

What are your hobbies?
I love to play Cricket, Table Tennis, Football, Rugby. I love to read non-fiction books and I have a collection of stamps from all over the world.

Happiest moment in your life?
There are many but the first that comes to my mind is when my brother passed with 83% marks in all subjects.

Your future plans?
Humility combined with hard work and perseverance is definitely my mantra for success! I will follow this when pursuing my acting career. If I get interesting roles I will move on. I am ready to do TV, films and theatre.
