Hey all, well most of us are all eagerly waiting for Eijaz to make his entry in Ka..😊 but for now, here is my take on ka..and what happens when Mr Khan appears on the scenes..
Anjali and Shaurya had been married for 6 months. In the space of 6 months their friendship had grown even deeper. Shaurya had no expectations from Anjali nor was there any pressure from his side. Instead he concentrated on supporting Anjali and the decisions she made. His presence in both her life and Ved's was the most stabilising factor. Anjali had immense respect for him, and loved him dearly. However, this love was formed out of the great friendship they shared. The relationship between the two was one of dependency and of immense trust. Anjali had finally begun to believe that she had reached a point in her life, where the difficulties she had faced would now be no more.
However, little did she know that this was the calm before the storm. The storm that would change her life and would leave her grasping to understand her feelings and once again she would find herself lost....
............................................................ ................................
An Art Gallery in Mumbai- at the start of a new exhibition....
He was immersed in the painting, the lady had captured his attention. His PA tried to catch his attention, Mr Khan's phone was ringing none stop but his eyes were fixed on the painting. He suddenly seemed to snap back into reality. He barked at his PA for not answering his calls. He then demanded " I want this paintingI am returning to London at the end of the week, by then i want it purchased".
Meanwhile on the other side of the gallery, stood Anjali and Shaurya.
Shaurya- " Anjali im so proud of you, the exhibition looks great and will be a sure success"
Anjali- " Shaurya maine kuch nahi kiya, yeh to Kavya ke paintings hai, had it not been for you then they would still be in storage"
Shaurya- " Mujhe to khushi hai ke ab sab dekhe sakein gein, Kavya khi paintings, thank you for agreeing Anjali for agreeing..."
As they stood together, admiring the decor that Anjali had done, a petite young lady, in a business suit approached them. . "Hi i am Miss Rai, i work for a business man, Mr Khan, i have a an offer for one of your paintings"
Anjali " Im sorry lekhin yeh paintings sale ke liye nahi hai"
Miss Rai " dekho my boss wants this painting and he is prepared to pay any price for what he wants"
Shaurya stepped in- " Miss Rai, as my wife has explained to you these paintings are unmol for us. They are not for sale.."
Miss Rai not one to give up easily, thrust Mr Khan's contact details into Anjali's hands as she said her good byes... However in the process she managed to drop her cell phone. She left the gallery, determined to please her boss.
Anjali was visibily upset, Shaurya could sense it, though Kavya was mentioned throughout the day within conversations. He knew that Anjali still was unable to bring herself to discuss her most innermost feelings with Shaurya. He understood that at this moment, Anjali needed to be left alone. He excused himself and walked towards a crowd of visitors.
Anjali stood lost in her thoughts, it was the sound of the ringing cell which caught her attention. It lay on the floor, someone must of dropped it she thought. Perhaps it was this person who was now calling to find the cell. She picked up...
Anjali " Hello"
Man " Where are you Miss Rai?! i am waiting. You know i expect a high level of professionalism, Hello Miss Rai, This is your boss why are u not saying anything! hurry up and get here now"
The man cut the phone. Anjali's heart was beating fast, for a moment she lost all sense.. The voice on the phone, nahi it couldnt be. Kavya was dead. But this voice, she felt utter disbelief. She felt the ground beneath her had just given way...
A thousand questions and doubts raced through her mind, as her heart beat so fast. Who was this man? Could someone's voice be so alike to Kavya's? Had she imagined the similarity in the voice? She stood cluctching the phone. As she did, Miss Rai who had realised she had dropped her phone waltzed back in and thanked Anjali for looking after the phone. She then hurried out of the gallery.
Anjali was in shock, she stood cluctching the contact card of Mr khan...This Mr Khan who wanted to buy Kavya's painting and who had spoken so rudely on the phone. Who was he....
