Lana,
One of my favourite quotes is about how mastery of any art is the regular and continual practice of that art. I always find that with your vms each one contains something new, a new avenue of experiment, for which reason I truly regard you as a master of this art.
From the beginning of this vm, you captivate me. That beginning with a blank, black canvas as you fill it with colour, paint a portrait in stages, a preamble to the whole piece; her then him and finally them. Following with echoes that resound that truth. Adding differing effects, and a little movement the last few, precluding any lapse of our expectations into the known, keeping us alert to what might come next, just like a relationship even if seemingly happy from cursory glances. Just impressive!
Your editing moves quickly so that we don't lose interest and yet never so that it becomes a collage of moments BUT a story unfolding. Excellently done.
I loved how you used long yearning shots for that portion between 1:31 to 1:35, as we hear sighs within the singer's notes too. I loved how you edited the sequnce from 1:51 onwards, especially that edit @2:01. Beautiful. I loved how you use that significant scene @2:20, as the song peaks. Excellent storyboarding.
I loved that glance back to the beginning picture. A relationship is made us of many moments, each linked together, it isn't about one moment, one end or the beginning but the whole. Like a chain linked together made of many parts that make the whole; a golden chain of days, of gilded moments. For not one link or moment is more beautiful that another link or moment, their beauty is being in part of a whole thereby each moment an eternity of beauty.
Impressive editing and storyboarding skills, I enjoyed watching it. With love, Sabah

Lana,
Although I do have a tendency to say only good or nothing at all, I do appreciate that artists need positive criticism too. However I have never really found anything to criticize or fault in your vms being truly enamoured by them. Maybe you are surrounded by much talent and so can not appreciate that in this field you truly are remarkable.
It isn't just the editing skills but those effects that you diligently overlay. Most of all it is the experimentation, which makes your vms innovative.
I promise that if I ever find something that wasn't up to standard or an experiment that falls flat I would let you know, so that you would improve, as you wish.
Thank you for sharing your work because just by watching them I feel honoured, as do most I am sure.
With love, Sabah
