As lead actors get younger, their parents on screen get younger too- especially onscreen moms who are getting younger by the day. With mostly fresh faces seen on television these days, the actors playing parents carry more weight as they are not just experienced actors but also familiar faces on television. We take a look at few mother-child jodis and notice less than 10 years age gap between them. Guess a meaty role doesn't stop a true actor from playing mommy

Lata Sabharwal-Hina Khan in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
Lata Sabharwal was seen as a young wife in Main Teri Parchain Hoon a while ago and the next show that came her way was Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Seen as the lovable Rajshri, Lata hasn't been sidelined in the show post the marriage of her daughter Akshara aka Hina Khan. Though the age gap between Lata and Hina must be 10 years or less, we have to credit the production team as they do look like mother and daughter.

Lata is beautiful, period. I've seen her in her non Rj avataar off set & she looks really fantastic! On the show, she looked her most ravishing during Naksh's wedding...Unfortunately, the garb she's made to wear everyday makes her look like a ammaji...
