We all know that our GC's Ramayan has been dubbed in tamil too from 2008. But two years before that he had done a 3D series "Mayavi", which was a success in the South. But I have seen two segments, where he talks in tamil.
Does it means that he knows tamil or does he learned it from his shows?

I'm a tamil girl.. And I'm happy to hear him speak in tamil..

he just knws little i think...coz if ur working in a particular place with diff lang u'll be tempted to learn the lang of teh place so i think he knws little...

I agree with you arthi... when you are acting or singing in a different language which you don't know you need to learn the essence of dialogues to give 100 percent... concept is similar for singers as well who have to sing in different languages keeping the pronunciation & accent intact.

he learned while doing role in mayavi... he is best...

I dont think he is very fluent. But he does seem to know some very common usages. I have seen him speak in Tamil in Pati Patni aur Woh also when he had to go to the sea as a fisherman. I am a Tamilian as well.
