Today, my post is all about the thing called "generation gap"😃
Wikipedia defines this "stuff" as the differences between people of a younger generation and their elders, especially between children and parent.😳 I guess most of us have heard this term atleast 10 times in their lives, but have you ever pondered over it!!?😊
If not, ponder now!!!Coz Navya gives us all the reasons to do so😳!!Right now, we are at the peaks o this so called difference of opinions between the elder generation (represented by Meeta, dipak and very soon- Anant's "elders") and the younger generation (represented by our favourite duo Anya and others such as Ritbir, nimisha etc)😳
Nobody of these 2 are wrong or right,😃 its just their ideologies and beliefs that make them different and controversial!😲
If I feel like continuing, my post can be as long as a book, but I will try to wrap it up in something as short as an essay!😃
The elder generation: I will not talk about Babaji, hari-om-prabhuji Bua and daddy-hot-hot..🤢.coz they are unique creations...even god does not dare to understand them, forget a "tuchhh prani" like me.😆
But I can understand Dipak and Meeta. 😳Today, wen dipak asked Anant, if he wud be fine if he comes to know that his sister is doing wat Navya is doing, 😕the concern and anger of a possessive father pierced straight into my heart! Dipak and Meeta represent those parents who are all worried about whether their beautiful innocent daughter is safe in the hands of this brutal world. How much ever trust they have on their daughter, they still pray everyday that she survives the brutality and vulgarity of the way boys look upon a pretty girl!😕 We all know how the outside world is today, dont we? Where eve-teasing is one of the most high-frequency crimes! 🥱Where "touching" a girl gives weird pleasures to some insanes!🤢😡!!A world where college is less of "padai-likhai" and more of finding timepass boy friends and girl friends!!😕 And wen a parent comes to know about their daughter having an "affair", how stressful they might be can be seen right in the eyes of Dipak and Meeta.😕 Dipak's question to Anant whether his parents know about anya or not!! Or did you meet outside the college? Or did navya tell him lies wen she said that she did not know anant before Valentines day!😕!All these questions showed me just one aspect of Dipak...his possessive side, the side that did not want anything to go wrong in his daughter's life!🥱!!And same went with Meeta!her decision of sending Navya away from her to kanpur was only coz she felt that Anya love maybe just an infatuation.🥱 An attraction that might get over with distance! And thats why she sent away her adorable daughter with a heavy heart!😭!Imagine how she must have felt when she must have made that decision!🥱!The dicision of not living with her daughter or seeing her in front of her eyes for 6 whole weeks!!!😕
And now coming to the younger generation...the generation i can relate to more!!!😳Today's youth...
The generation which is being thrown into the world of flirtations, time-passes and boredom when it comes to having a relationship😕!!In such a world, when souls like Navya and Anant meet, it feels so blissful just to watch them😍. We start dreaaming of having a partner just like them!🤗!Whose love is so pure, and so deep! 😳Where they are not with each other just coz its a fashion to have a bf/gf!🥱 But they are with each other coz they know that life is just incomplete without each other!❤️ Though this love story started off with physical attraction as a very important aspect, their bonding has now come a long way!😳 A bonding where they fear for each other, they care, they respect, they understand and they "love" each other in a true sense👏. And they want their parents to understand exactly how they feel for each other!!😳!But how? How will they get their parents to believe that they are not like the "other" younger generations of today!🥱!The generation that is notorious of having a relation just like changing clothes! It sure is a challenge to convince them that they do not belong to the majority lot!!😕
As we witness the struggle and tug of war between the 2 generations, I am sure o one thing...Our Anya are surely going to merge the differences..and sooner or later...the so called generation gap will dilute and dissolve. 👍🏼
They shall understand what their adults think and they will convince their elders to understand what they think!😳
And I as a viewer awaits on how this beautiful story shall unfold!!!😍
Love,
Ritz😳
