OmiGosh !! The ice is melting and the Stony Arnav allowed a outsider to take a peek into his vulnerable side. esp a outsider whom he loves to hate, whom he loathes, who has no respectable standing in his eyes.. WOW !!
The episode opened predictably with preparation for Aarthi and Pooja for Raksha Bandhan...Then comes the bombshell, the devout,Pious Anjali is missing from the scene of Action, usually it is she who is the first !!.. Search ensues leading to the realization that Anjali has gone somewhere, too upset,troubled and perturbed by previous nights events ...It is after this that events picked up for me..
Immediately finger pointing starts, making a guilty Arnav even more guilty and defensive ..In defense he blurts out that he went to speak to Khushi in the night , to get her to come back , assures everyone confidently that the money loving Khushi will be back ..This leads to a chain of interesting reaction's... Maami shocked to the core of her tiny heart, getting all fearful for her Son's future, Shyam scampering for safety to avoid exposure , Nanai getting angry at Arnav's arrogant assumption of the sterling qualities of Khushi ...Bell rings !! All await for Anjali while Arnav dashes to open the door , outside stands his link with Anjali , The bringer of happiness , Khushi.. a momentary glance into one another's eyes, and a triumphant look thrown at the family by Arnav...
Arnav states that he will go insearch of Anjali, Nani orders him to take Khushi ..A flabbergasted and irked Arnav has no such intention and vocally expresses it, but this time his writ will not run, Nani points out at his cruelty towards Anjali, says Anjali will come only if she sees Khushi with Arnav ...A arrogant Arnav who always delighted in thwarting Nani's diktat , meekly assents ..A first , but also a pointer that how far he will go for his loved one's ... Both Arnav and Khushi walkout.. I found the scene appealing cos they looked like a couple , who had received their blessing bec of that Pooja Thaali and it being held by an elder...Significantly, La comes AFTER ARHI leaves implying that she is not the chosen one [ we all know tht] and that she will miss the bus !!
The second instant ...when A worried Arnav is driving the jeep fast, yet in his deepest worry he is concerned for Khushi who is thrown by all the jerks ..He tersely orders her to fasten her seat belt ..When Khushi does not know how to do that, he frowns but stops the car , fastens it himself ...even In that highly tensed state, he still is attentive towards Khushi's safety and instead of hitting out with her aukkat card , he quietly, swiftly ties the belt ...A first bec he does that without spouting anything bitter on a helpless Khushi ..
The third Instant ... this is the usual merry go round..Khushi , that compassionate girl , senses Arnav's worry , tries to comfort him...it is like waving a red flag in front of a raging bull..Arnav immediately turns on her and puts the blame squarely on her , he begins his rant but one "special " look from Khushi and he steps back, goes mum ...not only that his mind immediately replays the hurtful words he threw at Anjali...Arnav Babu realizes that He and not Khushi is responsible but he does not acknowledge it..Yet !!
The fourth Instant..Arnav is roaming the streets clueless, searching blindly for Anjali, when suddenly Khushi pips up saying that Anjali would be in a particular temple ..Arnav does not waste a min ridiculing her suggestion, he immediately acepts her deduction and turns towards the temple ..certainly a huge First cos this is the first time he has done what Khusi wanted him to do without expecting any return ...
Another Small notable moment was when Anjali spots khushi within nanosecond of asking how Arnav knew to find her here , The expression on his face when Anjali says Khushi, The wariness that Anjali might be pulling his legs, the slight embarrassment in having to say that khushi lead him here, in mortification that he had to accept the lesser Khushi's help was well brought out and so was his guarded look sans any hatred when he too turns to see Khushi ...I also loved the fact that Khushi dtnds in the exact middle of this sibling duo...it was as if she is the balancing factor, one who will keep their relationship on even keel, as if she is the bridge which will always keep this two stubborn children united & connected despite the upcoming thunderstorm ..
But the finale was the pooja scene, where he gets the first hand evidence that he and La are not the same..La does not care about anything , does not respect any relationship unlike him... and he also got to see that he n Khushi are on same page when it comes to relations and respecting the sanctity of it ...A Mighty First , I would say !!
