For the sake of the serial?

How? How does their union serve the sake of the serial? Then why do they mention about child marriage laws/stats at the beginning of every episode and insist that they do not support such practices? What's the point of saying ki hum aisi cheezon ka virodh karte hain?😲

I know we should look at things from other's POV too. But then if we keep looking at things from others' POV then nothing will seem wrong na?

I don't see Anandi as a woman who has no self respect. I just view her terribly and totally subjugated and conditioned to live in subjugation. She has no sense of self at all. [Whatever she used to have, DS and later J killed it]

She is very emotional and even if she resists accepting him, that will be for a short time.

Not a single child marriage has failed and even actual harsh realities of this custom have been shown in this serial which claims to raise awareness on this issue and claims to be against it!

Why are they making it look like just other regular marriages? Why forget it's a child marriage?

@ Suchi,

If it is truely for the sake of serial that BV should live upto the promise it made when it was introduced and that was a true reflection of the consequences of a social evil lyk Bal vivaah.

So , to stay true to the spirit and not that disgusting tag line , the cvs and the writers should emphasize on atleast one drawback or failed relationship, they have instead glorified domestic violence, marital rape, sexist views and if J comes back it will be the biggest sign of promotng child marriage.

Both jaggu and Anandi are very popular characters, more in rural areas where this is most prevalent, so if they see their tv ideal jodi staying happy and united in the end, they would just shrugg there shoulders and say there is good in bal vivaah!!!!

See i understand that we need to have an optimistic view about Anandi but the problem is she is lyk that once in a blue sunshine , she at one pt says she s moving on and zillion other promises, but her problem is she never stands on them.

SHe was telling Asha to discover new world, does she realizes that she too needs to do the same, if she has become the daughter of this house then she should act lyk one, not a waiting wife who goes on FB mode or prays on his b'day! If by all her reformation cvs are attempting to please us and in the end, hand her Jaggu , then "where is the reformation in it", she would again become a happy beendhni to her Jagya and rather become a great example of a happy bal vivaah.
