I wish there were a chaskameter too for increasing TRPs.
Jokes apart, I wonder how TRP is calculated...noone ever comes to my house for servey.

Mridula I just googled how trps are calculated and see what I found:

"Television Rating Point (TRP) is a tool provided to judge which programmes are viewed the most. This gives us an index of the choice of the people and also the popularity of a particular channel. For calculation purpose, a device is attached to the TV set in a few thousand viewers' houses for judging purpose. These numbers are treated as sample from the overall TV owners in different geographical and demographic sectors. The device is called as People's Meter. It records the time and the programme that a viewer watches on a particular day. Then, the average is taken for a 30-day period which gives the viewership status for a particular channel."

Waise bhi what Nimmi-Nikhil are doing is not that daring or rebellious is it? There is nothing wrong in wanting to spend time with your fiance and trying to get to know the man you will spend the rest of your life with..😕
What I didn't like about Nimmi was she tried to downgrade Navya's character to make herself seen in a better light..Thats where her immaturity shows through right? There is no need to bring down someone else who you don't even know properly to defend your own actions..At the end of the day she is a 17 year old who has to deal with things far beyond her years because of her loonie family..😒

@Nidhi: As Asha said, the article is from 29th june..That was one of the worst periods of the show..No wonder that article is so harsh on the show, at that time the engagement drama was going on after all..🤢That track was honestly the biggest blunder ever by the CVs of this show..It was introduced much too early, and the CVs concluded the track in such a sloppy manner-ants in my pants-seriously!!😆
But yes, I am always scared of the trp race..Gulaal just went off air, and the buzz is Dor will follow next..At this rate the trps have to pick up or else Navya too will be under the radar since the 10 PM slot is a sought after one..
Hopefully as Asha said the marriage will increase the trps..CVs have to get one thing straight-No AnYa=no TRPs..

@Isha: I felt she was trying to bring down Navya when she said at least she was going out with her fiance where as Navya goes out with someone she is not officially committed too..As I said, why bring Navya in all this at all? If she was mature enough, then she would have tried to make Anant see her point without dragging Navya in, after all there is nothing wrong in what she did..
And yeah, CVs have to be very careful with showing melodramatic or for that matter realistic tracks even as the majority of viewers are teenagers..The trick is finding the proper balance between the melodrama and AnYa scenes, this way everyone will be happy..
