The PF is expert in hiding their own misdeeds. That's why Dev's kidnapping was not disclosed. Radhika and Dev are not disclosing it as they are trying to protect each other. But PF is not disclosing it to protect their own reputation. Just as RP didn't disclose Maheswari's crimes and then chose to keep silent about Rohan. When the priest questioned him, he could have easily told about Rohan's actions. But he chose to keep quiet and instead just told him to believe that the marriage with Radhika didn't happen. So that's why all the characterless charges are just heaped on Radhika with people assuming that she did get married but fell for Dev after her marriage with Rohan and hence is denying the marriage.Anyway, I liked yesterday's scene in Dada's room where Dev is telling Radhika of his childhood memories for several reasons. First of all, Dev was also in shock because he hadn't expected Dada to react like this despite all his disapproval. He obviously wasn't aware that Dada is the one who brainwashed Radhika to the extent that she refused this marriage. So his remembering that incident was also to assure himself that Dada would in the end be with Dev. Despite what he did to Chaya and Dev (Dada in any case expressed a lot of regret and showed that he did it against his wishes), he did come through for Dev in that rajtilak ceremony where Dev was going to be publicly humiliated.I liked the memory too because it reinforces that Dai and Padma were just caretakers of Dev. It was not Padma or even Dai who sat all night with Dev when he was sick. If either of them were Yasoda maiya, they would have done that. Instead it was Dada who sat with Dev. Now this was before the prophecy. So Dada cared for Dev regardless of whether Dev wasn't going to be RP or not.So I liked this scene as it shows RP as a complex person - hypocrite but capable of deep love even though that love comes with expectations and is flawed. He did favor Dev among all his grandsons and they showed that before the leap. It is another thing that he probably favored Dev because Dev had the qualities that Dada lacks - compassion, cultural values and true sense of dharam. This complex Dada and complex grandson Dev who do love each other deeply make better adversaries than any triangle story. This is the same reason that Rohan and Dev were better adversaries than Dev and Virat (who is nothing). So instead of fake wife, this track can be extremely interesting if they show a clash between Dev and Dada as Misti mentioned. Dada already dislikes this apparent hold of Radhika on Dev and he is not able to break it because it is not only based on spiritual relationship but also because Radhika is basically has this light and goodness to which Dev is attracted. That's why he solely chose to blame Radhika rather than other two players in the whole drama - Dev and Barkha. Radhika is the only one he rejected (had no problem putting his head in Dev's lap) and he knows that it would hurt Radhika to the core.So the interesting track would be that instead of rejecting the RP title, Dev does stake his claim on it based on the will which won't be changed by Dada (as it is based on the prophecy). Dada can misunderstand Dev's reaction as being ambitious as well as getting his love. Since Dev and Radhika are supposed to be RP and RPtain, they can't be goody two shoes all the time (no leader ever is including Kanha). They have to take decisions that they believe are right even if they hurt their loved ones. Let Dada keep Rohan on his side to check Dev and let Dev fight his own battles alongside Radhika. Padma as a grey character is a perfect foil (she can be like Gandhari who was basically a good person but had her insecurities and weakness for her own blood). These five characters - Dev, Radhika, Dada, Rohan and Padma along with more one-dimensional characters like Mohini, Virat and Maheswari make an interesting story. The story doesn't need Barkha at all. On the other side they have Mansa family that may be weak but play an important role because of their connection to Radhika.
