Article: Himmanshoo's prank has Nivedita in tears!

Given the general levels of tardiness in showbiz, actors, who report on the sets ahead of time, completely ready for a shot with hair, make-up and costumes in place, are every director's dream come true! Clearly, Nivedita Tiwary of Zee TV's Bhagonwali prides herself on being on the list of punctual professionals playing the heroine of the show!

But, there's only so much of her Goody-two-shoes behavior that her co-star Himmanshoo Malhotra could take. So, at a recent shoot of the show, he decided to ensure that his leading lady was delayed in making her 5 minutes-ahead-of-time entry! And how did he orchestrate this? The smart aleck sneaked into her vanity van and hid the hair-piece that she wears on
the show! The next day on the sets, chaos erupted in Nivedita's vanity as the poor thing ran from pillar to post in search of her missing hairpiece but to no avail. Making matters even worse, Himmanshoo decided to let the director in on his plan and asked him to play along. Joining Himmanshoo in the tom-foolery, the director pretended to be furious and started making calls to Nivedita at a frequency of one every 5 minutes, driving her completely up the wall.

It was only when Nivedita seemed to be welling up with tears that Himmanshoo burst out guffawing, confessed to his prank and out came the wig! And as he watched the usually quiet Nivedita turn red with rage, Himmanshoo ran for his life with threats of "I will KILL you!!" and "How could you do this to me??!!" following in his wake!
