he is not falling for alina, he was just trying to make her stand up for herself . he even protected maya before alina so he is just trying to be a good person and told neel to stop treating her like that. abhay can ever love anyone but piya and that's the truth. no matter what no one can come between abhiya. a boy protecting another girl does not mean he s falling for her or he is going to marry her, a oy can protect another girl b/c he cares about her as a friend, it's not always about love but it could be friendship to and i think it's too early to say if abhay is falling for alina b/c as far as i know abhay has his eyes on piya and piya only, a man who almsot kills himself to bring piya back to life and rejected metz for her how can he like someone else. if it was another guy guy he would have said the same things b/c the way neel was dragging her it was like he was forcing her without her wills and being a gentleman abhay came forward and told alina to stand up for her self and not let other push her around. what's the big deal if alina becomes abhay's friend, maybe this friendship can end the war between vampire and werewolves. if jay can be a good friend of piya then alina can also be good friend of abhay, it is none of her family business who she can be friends with and who she cannot be, just b/c her family hates abhay does not mean she has o hate him to. he sympathize with her and she seems not that bad to abhay so he helped her out that's it.
