I watched bits and parts of the episode.

I agree with charu, Sathybhama looked like a girl who was dragged from her school and gotten married off. her dialogue delivery is horrible.

But I dont think she was ever disrespectful to Rukmani. Rukmani was the chief queen and Sathybhama was jealous of her but did not disrespect her. She did not get with any of the other wives of Krishna and she and Jambavathi had a cold war. Her pride and arroogance for the love of Krishna was brought down by Narada.

and narakasura and his argument was okay. But that weeping woman throwing jewellery off was pathetic.

I did not watch the rest so I cannot comment much.

But by now the 5 wives of Krishna should have also been present isnt it.

Thanks for the update , it was a better episode, all the women were not married to Narakasur, if at all he had married them then considering 1 marriage per day, 16000/365=43.835 years, he has been kidnapping women & for all these years no body tried to kill him, considering there were many powerful kings at that time.

Satyabhama doesn't allow Krishna to go to Rukmini & Jambvati, what will she do after Krishna will marry all 16000 women?😆

i think satyabhama was is better than rukmini

even i was not liking her crying n believing in superstition n she was more like acting like woman of saas bahu serial

when i saw satyabhama her characterization was interesting
she was looking like wht she is. she has to improve her acting skill but much better than rukmini.

rukmini should have been like queen and acted like queen but why she was acting like simple wife.

Firstly, writing my response about the episode 😊, then coming to the points discussed by the members, one by one 😃

Narakasur actor is good 👏. His Mother, (I guess, 'Prithvi') was saying her dialogues without any 'Real Emotion' 👎🏼...

Satyabhama actress is like a little girl with her 'half pronounced words' 😔... And Krishna clapping (!!!! 😲) after her sword practice session! Did 'clapping' as 'a method of appreciation' existed in the old time? 😕 Not sure about it...

I feel, Vishal is not getting proper scope to show his talent 😔

I didn't like Satyabhama either..only if she was being played by some better actor, there was a chance...i spotted her in navya as navya's friend n she looks just that..a college going girl with a weird accent...okay for college but not mythology...she cannot pronounce a simple word like "dwar", how will she say those lengthy dialogues? oh i forgot, the language is supposed to be colloquial here not fair, nor do i expect this from a mythology...i didn't like her addressing rukmani as rukmani...

Yes, I too was surprised to find the background narraration suddenly !!! What was the need of the narration? 😕 They could have started with a bit of histrory about Narakasur as you have pointed out...

@ Chemestry, forget about the article 😊 which came during promoting the show for the first time on NDTV, they will show the 'later life' of Shri Krishna in this serial. I guess, that artcle was only meant to arouse the curiosity of the audience 😊

Krishna-Rukmini sc.s should have been the Best, but Priya and the Creatives have marred the whole charm from those scenes 😔.

And yes, that has been the main problem with the 'characterisation of Rukmini' in DBSK. From the very beginning, they have portrayed her like an 'ordinary lady', so we are unable to find the element of 'Lakshmi Mata' in her 😔.

@ Janu, Completely agree with your post about Satyabhama and the Krishna-Rukmini scenes ⭐️

@ Vinu, ACTUALLY what was the significance of that 'jewellery' scene? 😆 😕

I thought that they will time narkasura vadh with diwali but luks like this will get over much before diwali.

Hope they remember that this serial is getting telecasted in 8 pm slot and at present, this is one slot that has the MOST competition. SAB (a close contender of NDTV imagine) has got their new love story in 8 pm slot; Sony another close contender is taking KB from 8 pm slot offair and getting the new love story of a middle aged doctor and a trainee doc specifically in the 8pm slot. Clours BV and star plus (ipkknd) is anyways far ahead in the 8 pm slot.

At this rate, this serial would be in serious doldrums if nothing about the casting and presentation. A CHANGE in casting is the need of the hour.😳
