Yes you heard it right, "Its Beauty That CapturesYour Attention; Personality Which Captures Your Heart." Additi Gupta is one such actress who is a combination of both beauty and a good personality, added to that a person with great talent and a good heart, she has it all.

Her fans make her feel special by making many special things for her and one such thing is a FANCLUB which is always dedicated to her. And weAdditianshave successfully completed 16 Fanclubs of Additi Gupta and are now stepping into the 17th FANCLUB OF ADDITI GUPTA.

We Are Missing You Additi :(

Its been long since her show Sanjog Se Bani Sangini ended and our dear Additi disappeared after that with only a few glimpses. Now we miss her terribly every minute .

Now that we are missing her without any information about her upcoming show, we can go back to the old days and recollect about her old characters which were Heer and Pihu.

Heer is a selfless girl who grows into a responsible daughter and sister, a passionate lover, an ideal wife , a dutiful daugher in law and a loving mother. She always stood up for the right things but her good intentions were often wrongly interpreted or manipulated. Heer always lived her life for others happiness that is why even though she was told that Prem was her soulmate she agreed to get married to somebody else when her parents wanted her to. As Heer, Additi brought out the nuances of the character beautifully. She tried her best to retain the essence of the character even when the script went haywire. With her brilliant performance she made Heer an unforgettable character.
Heer goes through various stages and here is looking at some of the most important ones.

Heer the daughter: Born into a middle class family, Heer was always made to believe that her fate was entwined with that of Prem, her dad's best friend's son. She was told that she was only made for him and he for her. She lived and grew up with that belief. She had never imagined a life without Prem. So even though she was upset and shocked when she came to know that Prem wouldn't come back she agrees to get married to the groom of her parents choice just to please them. Her parents untimely death shakes her completely. But she realises that she needs to be strong for her younger sister.

Heer the sister: she was always a responsible sister. And when her parents die she becomes a surrogate mom for her younger sister Meher. She even takes up a job so that she and Meher can live a decent life. When she reunites with her long lost brother Nihaal she makes sure that he's always happy and even when he's wrongly accused of the death of his wife she chooses to stand with him because she believes in him.

Heer the passionate lover: Heer always lived for Prem. He was the reason for her existence till the time she thinks he wronged her. Heer waited for him and later let him go when she realised that she was tearing him apart from his family. She was ready to sacrifice her love for his happiness. She always kept his happiness in forefront. Prem's death almost drives her insane but she realises that she has to fulfill his wishes and takes care of his family like he wanted her to. In order to save his family she even risks her life by almost getting married to his arch enemy.

Heer the wife: Heer's belief that Gaurav was Prem makes her go ahead with the marriage to Rishab. And when Gaurav who she believes is Prem finally marries her she sees all her dreams coming true. But when she realises that Gaurav is a fraud she puts up a brave fight. She makes sure that he never took Prem's place in her life. Even though it killed her to be in the same room as him she put up with it for the sake of his family. And when finally she realises that Gaurav was indeed Prem she makes sure he comes clean. Heer was always truthful but when she's made to believe that Prem's life was in danger she decides to take matter in her own hands not realising that she was falling prey to her mother-in-law's devious plan to separate her from Prem. The breaking point was when Prem confesses to her to cheating her with her cousin Ashlesha. That was something Heer couldn't accept. She couldn't continue a relationship which lacked trust and she walks out of Prem's life.

Heer the mother: as a single parent Heer makes sure that her daughter got the best of everything. She even tries to keep Chahat away from Prem because she doesn't want Chahat to know that her dad cheated her mom. When she is finally convinced that Prem is indeed keen on having a relationship with his daughter she agrees to let him meet and spend time with Chahat. When she thinks Chahat is better off with Prem and his family she even leaves and tries to move out of their lives.

Heer the daughter-in-law and sister-in-law: Heer was the ideal daughter-in-law. Even when she was not married to Prem she continued to look after his family like her own. As a sister-in-law she made sure that Prem's siblings were always happy. As a daughter-in-law she was the apple of Prem's parents' eyes. Gayatri loved her like her own daughter till she was made to believe that Heer was responsible for Veera's problems. Even when Gayatri ill treats her Heer does everything to make her happy. Even though initially she has a rough relationship with Prem's father Lalit over a period of time she becomes his daughter, friend and confidant.

Pihu from Sanjog se bani Sangini is nothing but an enigma. What, when, how she'll react is something nobody, even Pihu herself, can predict.. Pihu went through a lot of changes in the course of the show. Her life was always plagued by a constant fight between her heart and her mind.
Starting off as a spoil brat then moving to a spiteful and revenge seeking woman who goes all out to satisfy her ego to loosing her mental balance after realizing her mistake to finally accepting things and moving ahead in life and then again getting taken in by people and going after her love, Pihu has come a full circle. And to say that Additi has done each and every stage beautifully would be putting it mildly. Here is looking at some of the highs and lows of Pihu.

Spoiled Brat Pihu:Born into a wealthy family, Pihu had the world at her feet. She was made to believe that everybody around her lived only to please her and dance to her whims and fancies. Even though she loved her childhood friend Rudr she loved herself more. And this led to her choosing Abhay over Rudr.

Evil Pihu:This was the worst phase Pihu went through. It was only after she got married to Abhay did she realize what a grave mistake she had made. She realized she shouldn't have left Rudr and then started a constant battle to win Rudr back but at the same time keeping Abhay happy. And in this confusion she gets manipulated by others and gets on a destructive path where she goes all out to destroy Rudr and his life even putting her marriage at stake.

Guilt Ridden and Mentally Unstable Pihu: When Pihu realizes her mistake it affects her so badly that it starts eating into her conscience. She can't live with the guilt and this leads her to loose her mental stability. All she wants to do is talk to Rudr and make sure that he forgives her. Her this state leads Abhay into doing things to avenge his wife's condition and loosing his life in the process.

Sane Pihu:Probably the best phase in Pihu's life, though she had a big price to pay for it. Abhay's death and her life afterwards makes Pihu realize how wrong she was. Not only she goes on to apologize for everything she has done, she even goes out of her way to help Rudr's sister in sorting her problems.

Confused Pihu:Life again brings Pihu back to where she started. The thought of loosing her first love again and living a lonely life prompted Pihu to go after her love. Even though she knows she's fighting a loosing battle she fights nevertheless.

Wise Pihu:The final phase, Realization finally dawned on her when Rudr chooses Gauri over her. It broke her heart but made her very wise. She realized her follies and went ahead to rectify her mistakes there by proving that after all that she had done, Pihu was all heart after all.
