hmmm yeah that reminded me , i hv read in Ramayan it was mentioned that KSK were Dashratha's main wives ... But no other details were mentioned Thought that they just used the word main generally 😛

I hv no idea about Krishna sons n daughters ... Just copied from fb fanpage.
Infact hv less knowledge abt Krishns life after Kans vadh ... I love Krishna more with Radha ji His life in vrindavan n gokul. So, lv JSK lk anything.

I wish sagas hd n official fb page (like sagar arts) or website where cud suggest them to watch their own show JSK ... How beautifully they hd shown His leels n the relationship of Krishna with every1 specially with Radhaji n Balram ... even they use to exchange thoughts from far distance. <3 it.
N here Balram ji disrespects n dominats Krishna ... Again day before or so he said 'na jane Krishna ki budhi ko kya ho gaya hai' :|

I wanted to watch this show only coz i dont know much of Krishns life in Dwarka. But nothing in this show i Lv or believe.
Every day while watching i doubt ... It happen in real? Its sad now cant believe on sagars shows also :(

satyabama is the most protesting character of krishna's wives .Because she herself killed narakasura the demon during the war time.

she is also in love with krishna by hearing his past times and heroic activities from

the beginning of her teenage like rukmani etc.

she is the only daughter of satrajit and protest against him during syamantaka gem issue.

because of mad bounded love towards krishna , she always clashes with timid Rukmani for silly issues to show her supremacy over others.

she is also have pride over her money her father had and she knows all the tactics and practices like sword fighting ,horse riding etc.though she is not a royal blood ,she learned everything like a prince who learn for his own.😊

so she such a twisted and bold plated character they can give some more time to expose her nature in this show . but ruined her portrait.

it is said that each and every wife of krishna had 10 sons each and a daughter u can refer shree Prabhpadha's (hare krishna saint) works .

After Krishna returned Satrajit his gem, Satrajit apologized and offered it to him. Krishna declined, but told Satrajit that he would accept the gold that the gem produced. Satrajit also offered Krishna Satyabhama's hand in marriage, which Krishna accepted.

Now, Akrura, Kritavarma and Satadhandva were all suitors of Satyabhama, and Satrajit had allegedly previously promised Satyabhama's hand to any one of them. So they were seething w/ anger @ her being given away to Krishna. After Krishna left for Hastinapur, one night, Satadhandva went into Satrajit's home and stabbed him in his sleep, and stole the gem, which as agreed, was still w/ Satrajit, not Krishna.

Satyabhama on getting this news went to Hastinapur and told Krishna about this, so Krishna returned w/ her, and decided to pursue Satadhandva. Satadhandva appealed to Kritavarma to save him, but was turned down. He then appealed to Akrura, but w/ the same result, so he asked Akrura to keep the gem on his behalf. He then fled Dwarka, but Krishna chased him & killed him.

Not finding the gem on him, Krishna guessed that it was w/ Akrura. He confronted Akrura on that, and Akrura offered to return him the gem. Krishna however asked Akrura to keep the gem w/ him, but w/ a condition that it never be taken out of Dwarka.

P.S. One curiousity that I had was that since Krishna decided to keep it in Dwarka so that its fabled curse only affects Dwarka, why didn't he simply give it to his sons by Satyabhama, who would have been Satrajit's heirs?

really can u conform that lakshmana is from tamilnadu ? Because i heard that people of TN worship traupathi as goddess of goodness. Even in Madurai where one of the famous temple Meenakshi amman presides ,where there is a little temple for Traupathi is build there in on around 9th century more then 1100 years .people still held festivels for traupathi amman too.

If lakshmana is there from tamilnadu then she will famous among that side people and began to worship her too more than Traupathi.

Because during 9th century Andhal a women saint who married lord ranganath of srirangam temple in south trichy is quite famous deity among that people.(I will tell u the story if u need)Then why not lakshmana who married krishna in his life time is missing .

It is said Ally(ahlly rani) belongs to south side who is the wife of Arjun . It is later mentioned that during kurushetra war time even foods supply is benefited by pandhavas from south indian kings like pandias etc. because they or one among them married their daughter's etc.

so can any explain who is lakshmana . i heard krishna has undergone a competition like Arjun did for traupathi , for having lakshmana's hand is that true .

@ Vrish, I somehow missed this thread. You have a fab update on the Syamantaka story here as well as on a lot of other things.

@vanadhi - I think the name is Lakshana. Not too sure but this is what I have read. She was a princess from south or the tamil region. In her swayamvar, both the Pandavas and Kaurav were also present along with Jarasandha. There was an archery competion I guess or a target to be hit. Both Jarasandha and Duryodhana could not achieve it. Arjun knew she was destined for Krishna and purposefully filed the test. Bhima was asked to but he did not even attempt out of the regard he has for Krishna. So Krishna won the same and married her. She was his 8th wife. Hope this helps.

Some one correct me, the order of Krishna's wives as far as I know are as follows:

1. Rukmini;

2. Jambavathi;

3. Sathybhama;

4. Kalindi - a river again;

5.Mitravrinda;

6.Naganajiti or Satya or Nila;

7. Bhadra - known also to be a river and was Krishn's cousin; and

8. Lakshana.

Many places its still disputed if Krishna maried Jambavathi first or Sathyabhama. Sathybhama is mostly referred to as his II wife while if we follow the chronology of the events it will not be correct.
