Janmashtami is a spiritual festival
Janmashtami is a very important festival for me as it marks the birth of lord Krishna.I enjoy watching Dahi Handi by going to the place where the action is but it is not possible every year as work should be given the the first preference.
I have a lovely childhood memory of the festival.We used to stay in Ahmedabad and I was dressed as Radha and one of my neighbours was dressed as Krishna for Janmashtami.It was so much fun! I still remember the way everybody was cooing at us.I was looking so cute.I still have some pictures in my Ahmedabad house.I can never forget that Janmashtami.
This Janmashtami I plan to fast and go to Krishna temple for Nand Gopals darshan.
